RedJed Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 I went to Red Eye yesterday - Craven did a great job of creating this uneasy confined feeling considering it was mostly based inside an airport and airplane of course. Pretty good film but it takes awhile to get somewhere and there are a few parts of unbelievability, but not nearly as bad as I expected. For a Craven film that wasn't a horror, I was impressed.
Mole Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 I can see 40YOF hanging around for a long time. Once again, word-of-mouth is the BEST marketing a movie can have.
SuperJerk Posted August 23, 2005 Author Report Posted August 23, 2005 I just noticed Deuce Bigalow is out of the top 10 also. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Youth N Asia Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 40 Year Old Virgin > Wedding Crashers
Mole Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 I saw 40YOV last night and every single demographic, over 17, was there. This movie is going to make atleast $150 million.
cabbageboy Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 I dunno about 150 million. The movie only opened at 20 million so it'll have to have insane staying power to hang around that long. I think it might make it to about half that much, but hey 75 million isn't bad and is a nice starring debut for Carell.
C Dubya 04 Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 75 mil on a budget in the 20's is pretty fucking great.
