Chris Jericho has reposted the update that was taken down from his website last week. In it he states, “You won’t see me doing any conventions or indie shots in the meantime. If I’m going to be in the wrestling biz, it will be with the WWE. I’m a member of the WWE family for the rest of my life…just like the mafia…and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about my company. So you won’t see me doing any shoot interviews either. Why would I? Vince and I have accomplished a lot of awesome things together and I have nothing but respect for him.”

 

Paul London is off the road attending to a personal family issue. London was very vocal about the limitations put on the cruiserweight division a few weeks back, including voicing those frustrations to Vince McMahon himself. London promptly dropped the title.. Management is hoping when he returns, that he will return with a less “negative” attitude.

 

Before Summerslam there was meeting held with the locker room. They were told that there were to be no video games backstage, so that they wouldn’t be distracted. Also during this meeting, they aired a tape of a recent Hardcore Holly vs. Steven Richards bout from Velocity to show the importance of “less is more” and how to sell during a match. They also asked from this kind of effort from all of the men.

 

The next Tuesday, Richards wasn’t used for the Smackdown taping though, even after his praise from management. Richards is said to be very upset, as he though the rebirth of the bWo would actually mean a push/reward for all of his hard work.

Distracted from learning how to wrestle the "less-is-more" way. According to sources, video game wrestlers have a larger arsenal of moves than your standard WW_ punch-kick-spinebuster-victory roll* moveset, and it was starting to corrupt the newer guys. Can't go putting exciting wrestling moves in Vince's "sports entertainment", right?
