CanadianGuitarist Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 1) Campaign style commercials when there's not likely to be an election for, at least, 4 months. 2) The average Canadian family makes no more today than they did 12 years ago. 1989-1993 Average Income 1999-2003 Average Income While I'm no economist or mathemetecian, isn't 59.9 more than 51.4? 3) "Let's make Canada a place the world wants to invest in" And not a BETTER FUCKING PLACE TO LIVE? I'd personally rather see, you know, safer streets in Toronto, the deficit paid, cancer cured, homeless people with places to stay, than say, another McDonald's or HSBC branch. I watched that commercial as unbiasedly as possible, but, come on? I can't be the only to have noticed what I mentioned.

Red Baron Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 How much has inflation increased in 15 years?
CanadianChris Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 How much has inflation increased in 15 years? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The stats are all in constant 2003 dollars.
Red Baron Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 so Harper and his wacky conservatives are more moronic than the NDP party.
CanadianGuitarist Posted September 1, 2005 Author Report Posted September 1, 2005 so Harper and his wacky conservatives are more moronic than the NDP party. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Conservatives support capital punishment but oppose abortion? Yes. What are they, a bunch of idiots? Apparently. The NDP support abortion but oppose capital punishment? Yes. What are they, a bunch of idiots? Apparently.
dubq Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 ...and the Liberals aren't a bunch of fucking idiots?
Red Baron Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 But the Liberals brought out this Red Book Planner in 1993 to tople the PC party. eight years later the Conservatives used the ideas out of the Liberal book against the Liberals in 2001. The Liberals defeat the motion 149 to 121. How Canadian...How Liberal

How Canadian...How Liberal <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It parallels Y2Jerk's theory that we should take a ridiculously Liberal idea, say Jesus said it, and watch the right implode like Peter Griffin's yes man. God damn I shouldnt have loaned you that book, Baron.
dubq Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Yes because ALL conservatives are that religious.
CanadianGuitarist Posted September 4, 2005 Author Report Posted September 4, 2005 I didn't say they were. I just said it was parallel.
