Youth N Asia Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 Cool boxart...just with the movie was better
dubq Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 Am I the only one who gets the impression that the hand is supposed to be "alive" ? Since when do Romero zombie hands move after they've been cut/ripped off?
Guest El Satanico Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced George A. Romero's Land of the Dead for release on October 18th. Available in separate R-rated and Unrated editions (the R-rated being fullscreen only), the discs will feature both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Surround tracks. Extras are expected to include commentary and a mess of featurettes. Also look for an Unrated UMD day-and-date. Retail is $29.98 each. The bolded part gives me pleasure, and I can picture George smiling and saying "fuck 'em" when making that decision.
Ravenbomb Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 I don't like it. It's supposed to be the fourth movie of the original series, right? It seems more like the new series. Just doesn't have the feel of the old one...
Gary Floyd Posted September 8, 2005 Author Report Posted September 8, 2005 Update: There's a possiblility that the Unrated version might get a theatrical run http://www.horrorchannel.com/dread/modules...rticle&sid=2612
Youth N Asia Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Ugh, why? It's not like it made enough the first time through
dubq Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Probably more for die-hard fans who want to see it on the big-screen again. I like it when stuff like this happens because usually the only other place I can see this sort of stuff on the big-screen again is through a "festival" cinema - and that still only happens once in a blue moon.
