Am I the only one who gets the impression that the hand is supposed to be "alive" ? Since when do Romero zombie hands move after they've been cut/ripped off?

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced George A. Romero's Land of the Dead for release on October 18th. Available in separate R-rated and Unrated editions (the R-rated being fullscreen only), the discs will feature both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Surround tracks. Extras are expected to include commentary and a mess of featurettes. Also look for an Unrated UMD day-and-date. Retail is $29.98 each.

The bolded part gives me pleasure, and I can picture George smiling and saying "fuck 'em" when making that decision.

Probably more for die-hard fans who want to see it on the big-screen again. I like it when stuff like this happens because usually the only other place I can see this sort of stuff on the big-screen again is through a "festival" cinema - and that still only happens once in a blue moon.
