Guest John Dub Posted September 4, 2005 Report Posted September 4, 2005 I moved from Boston to Philly to go to college, and I've been here about a week. Last night I got really high, bought some sushi, and came back to my dorm. Out of nowhere I had an epiphany: "Philly is a wrestling hotbed. Perhaps there's an ROH card I can go see." And there was. And the main event has Kenta Kobashi. I almost shit myself. Sweet deal. I don't really follow wrestling any more, but I can't pass this up. I like all the other guys invovled in the main event too (Low-Ki, Samoa Joe and Homicide). I got a general admission ticket and I can't wait for October 2nd. The only other ROH show I went to was in Wakefield and had the fucking terrible main event of Punk vs. Raven in a clockwork orange of doom match or whatever it was called. That match was really bad. I'm sure this will be better.
Matt Young Posted September 4, 2005 Report Posted September 4, 2005 Awesome, J-Dub. I'd love to get that kind of opportunity. Hey, it's a WG reunion!

Placebo Effect Posted September 4, 2005 Report Posted September 4, 2005 You should come to CZW's show next Saturday afternoon. There is one at night as well, but the day time show is a tribute show for Chris Cash.
Toshiaki Koala Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 The exact same thing happened to me last November, except I live in New Jersey and had never even dreamed of going to an indy show, and the featured attraction was Lyger. It made me like wrestling again.
Jericholic82 Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Im glad to see the east coast has such a hot indy scene as I will be moving back to NY within the next few months. the socal scene has died down so much.
