Guest *KNK* Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 How can Marvin Lewis not have a defense? I'm starting to think that whole defensive guru thing was over-rated. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like Tony Dungy? You need to get the personal to be able to work your defense. Right now he does not have the personal he needs on defense. I mean, he IS rebuilding the frickin Bengals. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> and just like Tony Dungy, they took over great offense's forcing them to abandon the concept of defense...
2GOLD Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Man, oh man. Slayer, get your boy on track for me, will you? Nate Burleson's value is plummeting as we speak! Even if he tossed 3 TDs (which would be good, for sure), that would just barely even out his turnovers in fantasy calculations for this week, wouldn't it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not if he throws all three touchdowns to Nate. That'll help Nate's totals big time.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Ehh... he'd get enough points in my leagues to make it so that I don't have negative points. Haha.
Slayer Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Griese to Alex Smith again 14-7 Tampon Bay
Guest MikeSC Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 I, like an idiot, started Williamson, figuring he'd be able to stretch the field out. That's one slot that won't do shit for me today.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Steelers up on the Tits, 20-7 at the half. McNair has been ripping the Steeler D apart, though, despite the score and stats. The defense has got to step it up in the second half, because they're two turnovers and a missed FG away from being down at the half.
Precious Roy Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 I really wish I could get that NO/C-line game. I mean, who isn't a Saints fan right now, and Carolina is the SI superbowl pick, and instead I get fucking Washington and Chicago, a game that hasn't meant shit in 20 years
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Carolina is the SI Superbowl pick? By whom, Dr.Z?
Slayer Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Culpepper almost throws another INT (it was a bad throw to begin with) and gets booed
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 STEVE SMITH~ NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CALLED BACK you'remurderingmyfantasygameyoudamnrefs.
Guest *KNK* Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Bengals with a great drive after two bad penalties (going 91 yards) to go up 17-10 with 45 seconds remaining in the half.
2GOLD Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Culpepper almost throws another INT (it was a bad throw to begin with) and gets booed <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Rule #1: If you are going to say "we don't need this player to win", you better make damn sure you bring your A game in week one. Right now Dante is bringing a game that might make the Viking fans start thinking that Tim Couch guy is worth a look.
Slayer Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 ...now we're seeing the Vikings defense of old, giving up 20-30 yard plays to Brian Griese
Guest *KNK* Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Carolina is the SI Superbowl pick? By whom, Dr.Z? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've seen alot of Carolina picks for the SB all over the place.
razazteca Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE TEY TURK OUR TDS
Guest MikeSC Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Back-to-back illegal touching penalties for the Panthers? Yeesh.
Slayer Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Carolina is the SI Superbowl pick? By whom, Dr.Z? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've seen alot of Carolina picks for the SB all over the place. Including Dr. Z, I believe
Precious Roy Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Carolina is the SI Superbowl pick? By whom, Dr.Z? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, they're picked to beat Indy in the superbowl, and Delhomme was on the cover of the season preview. Of course SI never gets it right, but that doesn't change the fact that the Carolina bandwaggon is rolling strong....
Guest MikeSC Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 They're my pick. I pick a Donovan and T.O meltdown opening things up.

Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 I've been on the Carolina bandwagon since last year. I thought they were a sleeper team to come out of the NFC had they won their last game.
Slayer Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Rule #1: If you are going to say "we don't need this player to win", you better make damn sure you bring your A game in week one. Tell me about it
2GOLD Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 I picked a Cardinal-Cowboy NFC title game. Course, I'm out of my fucking mind so it makes perfect sense. The Vikings have 10 yards rushing? Jesus, even the Bears are doing better than this for christ sake.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Willie Parker = fantasy start of my life if he starts scoring TDs.
Slayer Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Tampa has nearly quadruple the total yardage of the Vikings, 230-60 And the Vikings get booed as they leave the field for halftime
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Speaking of which...
2GOLD Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Tampa has nearly quadruple the total yardage of the Vikings, 230-60 And the Vikings get booed as they leave the field for halftime <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They should just be glad guns aren't allowed in. I have a feeling more than boos will be flying if they have a second half like the first half they just had. Also, Romeo Krennel's defensive debut isn't working out as planned as the Bengals have over 200 yards of offense. Still, the Browns offense looks 10 times better but the Browns still trail 17-10. And this Titan-Steeler game is just sad. The Titans defense just looks so overmatched. I know they are young and all, but this is making me want to cry for them.
CanadianChris Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 There's your Bills TD. The Rams better kick some ass this afternoon, because Buffalo was my alternate pick in the survivor pool.
