More bad news for Oklahoma: SMU 14, TCU 3 Halftime

Weird day in the MAC as Central Michigan upset Miami of Ohio and Bowling Green only up by four against Ball State in the 4th.

Hey is Vanderbilt a bowl team this year? Scored road wins over Wake Forest and Arkansas so far.

50 yarder...No Good. Christ. This is going to be some ending. For some reason I see Texas getting a TD but missing the extra point.

What a throw. That was simply the play of the night for Vince Young. This could be the game where Young proves he can pass.

Fumble...Texas Football! No way this gets overturned. This is a fumble all the way. Maybe that's becasue I'm going for Texas.

Edit: No question about this one. Texas ball.

I'm very disappointed in Iowa getting stomped. They won't lose again. I think their heads were too big with plenty of hype and then dismantling some losers.

I think Iowa might have been looking ahead to Ohio State in the Shoe on the 24th. And they just flat out didn't come to play...Iowa State controlled just about every aspect of the game.

If Iowa gets their heads on straight one should feel sorry for Kurt Warner U next week (Northern Iowa) because they're getting rolled.

Well it's pretty much over now. This'll make the Tennessee-Florida game another elimination game for the Rose Bowl.

Ohio State isn't eliminated. Let's face it we know how the polls work, if you lose at the beginning of the year you can recover and run the table and get in if there isn't more than one undefeated team.

Now time to focus on ASU/LSU, Sun Devils up 17-7 late in the 3rd.

What a great game tonight. This is what college football is all about. Ohio State cost themselves by taking 5 FGs. If at least one of those was a touchdown, Ohio State has the number two ranking next week. Vince Young has to be considered as the top contender for the Heisman now, even though he made a few bad mistakes, he led his team late and won the game for them. So is this game better than Ohio State-Miami?

Oh I know OSU isn't out of it yet, but I think Texas can probably run the table this year and USC should be able to go undefeated again.

And this is obviously Bizarro World as Mack Brown has won a big game...

As for Vandy, I don't think it means they're a bowl team.

1. Wake just got stomped by Nebraska, so they're 0-2.

2. Arkansas just lost the core members of their team last year, like QB Matt Jones. They're in a rebuilding phase.

I'm not sure how many more games they'll win this year.

Their remaining schedule has:

Possible Wins:

Richmond (I-AA)

Middle Tennessee State

Kentucky

Ole Miss

Potential ass-whuppings:

LSU

Georgia

Florida

South Carolina

Tennessee

Texas has two more obstacles, Oklahoma and Texas A&M. They get past those two games, they'll definitely beat the Big XII North rep and go to Pasadena.

Actually, at this point, I'd say their toughest tests might be Texas Tech and Iowa State in the Big XII championship game. Texas Tech has been getting consistently better week after week, and Iowa State took a really solid football team, and just destroyed them today. Still though, considering how well they played tonight, I'd say that Texas has about an 80-85% chance of going to the national championship. Honestly, USC is more likely to lose than Texas right now with big tests coming up against Arizona State, Cal, Notre Dame, and Washington State.

OK, the last one was a joke, but the school I attend is doing pretty damn well right now.
