Urban Warfare Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Don't act like you did anything Chad Henne. That was 100% Jason Avant.
therealworldschampion Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Henne now fumbles the ball at the goal line and ND recovers..
teke184 Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Video review gives ND a touchback off of a Henne fumble... Henne is SO going to get killed by someone after blowing these opportunities.
Urban Warfare Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 The argument for Michigan fans will be that Avant was in the first time, and if not, Henne was the second time. But either way, you can't be in the red zone three times and not score once.
Gert T Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Time for another 5 minute review. Avant was not in the end zone, Henne may have been the first time.
therealworldschampion Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Michigan won't win this review, Quinn looked to be down before the ball came out.
CanadianChris Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Tulsa down 8, but driving down to the OU 25...
CanadianChris Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Michigan TD...17-9 with 3:47 and an extra point to go.
2GOLD Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 It needs to be said. Notre Dame isn't that good, Michigan is just that bad on offense.
CanadianChris Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 How is Oklahoma winning this game? I'm looking at the GameCast on ESPN.com, and Tulsa is beating them in pretty much every category but the actual score. And the Tulsa TD was called back.
Urban Warfare Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 I'm reading the game summary on Yahoo and it looks like Adrian Peterson is the only reason why Tulsa isn't shutting OU out. Touchdown Tulsa but they miss the 2 pt. conversion.
CanadianChris Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 NOW Tulsa has the TD. 2-pt convert failed, 17-15 OU with 9 minutes left.
Urban Warfare Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Michigan will somehow have a chance to tie this game with about 2:00 left in the game.
Carnival Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Oh god, come on Tulsa. And go Notre Dame, just cuz they are the underdog. 3 and out Mich! Ha. unless they don't have any timeouts. then they gotta go for it. I don't know I'm just watching this on yahoo since I'm at work.
therealworldschampion Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Michigan can't move the ball and Notre Dame looks like they'll win
2GOLD Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 One more of the overrateds dead and buried.
Urban Warfare Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Now if Ohio State looses, most of the over rated teams will have a loss.
Urban Warfare Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 It doesn't matter if OU wins this game. I believe Bored said it before, even if they win this game they shouldn't even be ranked. Struggling to be a team that you outrank by almost 80 spots is not Top 25 material.
Carnival Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Well now the picked them off for a touchdown. Just padding the stats. I agree they should not be ranked at this point.
lomasmoney Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Just got back from the U of M game....Chad Henne can't complete a pass with any accuracy, and the playcalling on offense was the worst ive ever seen. 4th and 15 and you throw a four yard out to the tight end
2GOLD Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Just got back from the U of M game....Chad Henne can't complete a pass with any accuracy, and the playcalling on offense was the worst ive ever seen. 4th and 15 and you throw a four yard out to the tight end <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Anyone who thought Chad Henne was any kind of quarterback before the game was being extremely optimistic to say the least. Henne is just the best option they have at the moment, which isn't saying much. Michigan has a strong defense but that is only going to get you so far when you don't have a quarterback who doesn't have leadership skills on offense. Which is all Michigan really needed.
lomasmoney Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 exactly....Matt Guitierez is so much better than Chad Henne. It is just the guy basically lost his job because he blew out his shoulder. He's mobile, has exhibited poise and isn't the college version of present day Joey Harrington. The defense came to play, and Henne blew the game. He doesnt go through his reads, throws erratic balls, and does not have a Braylon Edwards to throw to this yr. If i was Carr, next week I give Gutierrez some real time to see what he can do
therealworldschampion Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 I don't think Michigan will win another NC until Lloyd Carr retires. He can recruit with the best of them, but the man constantly gets outcoached in big games. They'll win the conference titles, but they have to do something about these kinds of losses if they want to win NCs. I see Michigan at either 9-2 or 8-3 this year depending on how Ohio State and Iowa do this year. ND will probably get up to about 11-12 in the polls next week. They're looking at 8-3 or maybe 9-2 if they can pull off an upset in one of the three remaining tough games of theirs this year (@Purdue, USC, and Tennessee).
lomasmoney Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Yeah, the atmosphere around the entire program needs to change. Go to a game at Ohio State or Tennessee, or Florida. The fans there are fucking awesome they cheer on their team. We had kids leaving the student section after Michigan scored to get within 7. The fans sit on their ass and don't make any noise while they sit around and blame the refs for bad playcalling and passing. I mean the University told students who got placed outside the student section they couldnt stand up during games because they alumni behind them couldnt see. As much as it pains me to say this, being Lloyd Carr is a legend in my town, but he needs to go or shake up his staff. The decisons they make in clutch situations are so bad. Why the fuck did they keep running sneaks with Henne. Put in Antonio Bass or Steve Breaston at QB and see what the defense does. Do something unexpected
CanadianChris Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Prediction time...does Oklahoma move up, down or nowhere in the next poll? I say they move down to #20.
2GOLD Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Prediction time...does Oklahoma move up, down or nowhere in the next poll? I say they move down to #20. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Should move down, but they won't. I'm more interested in what Secret Agent's avatar will be for the rest of the year.
