Guest *KNK* Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 One of The best shows on network television returns tonight after an incredible turn of events in last season's finale that left alot of questions hanging in the air and tonight we discover the answers. We have some devoted GG fans here and rightfully so because some of us actually appreciate quality entertainment and I can only expect us to greatly get involved in what looks to be quite a busy season for the Girls.
The Czech Republic Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 No "the" in the title for Gilmore Girls, or Tindersticks, for that matter. I think. Inc?
Guest *KNK* Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 No "the" in the title for Gilmore Girls, or Tindersticks, for that matter. I think. Inc? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I meant for it to be "The Gilmore Girls Thread"...but didn't add the "Thread" part...Yes it looks awkward now with it.... Oh well. Only 2 1/2 hours away.
RavishingRickRudo Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 I am debating. Since I am not done Season 5, I am a lil weary about going into Season 6. *Spoilers?* I know Rory left Yale after stealing a boat with Tristan Part Deux, and moved in with her Grandparents and Lorelai (who is very unhappy with Rory) proposed to Luke. I know all the characters involved, so it's not like its going to be a whole lot of unfamiliar, but still... I still need to see about 11 more episodes. I'll probably watch the first five minutes, and if I am not completely fucked up, I'll watch the rest... it's just... I have never really watched "new" episodes before...
RavishingRickRudo Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Herc gives the premiere *****. For me, when Herc gives shit *****, it's a must-watch. http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=21252
Mole Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Season 6 already for this show? Damn.
Guest Askewniverse Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 I'm surprised there are enough fans here to warrant two GG threads. I haven't finished Seasons 3 and 4 yet, but I'm going to watch Season 6 as it airs. This will be the first season of GG that I watch "live."
Lord of The Curry Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 I've gotta work harder on that voodoo curse I've placed on Rudo. Don't worry buddy, we can rebuild your manhood. We have the technology.
RavishingRickRudo Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 No dude. You got it all wrong. Once you love this show, you will understand. And there's already FIVE Seasons of it. Firefly, LOST, Shield, Deadwood, Carnivale... just as wonderful, and there's MORE OF IT. Come... join us... It's Bliss.
Guest *KNK* Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Fucking awesome start to this season... 10 minutes into the show and It's so fucking quotable.
RavishingRickRudo Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 I'm catching it at 10 on Global.
The Czech Republic Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 "There's no wine, no beer, no cooking sherry. it's like Dylan Thomas blew through town."

This episode is really kicking ass...I hope someone here is taking down the quotables because this show is already loaded with them and it's only 20 minutes into it.

Possibly Ronnie Gardocki.
Guest Askewniverse Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Forget the whole "manly" thing. There aren't too many shows today that have a better cast of supporting characters. Kirk fuckin' owns.
Guest *KNK* Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Rory is really looking good today.

And yeah this is effin loaded.
Guest Askewniverse Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 "Doyle is the tallest one in his family. It was like being at a Lollipop convention. I had to stop myself from asking for directions to the Chocolate Factory."
The Czech Republic Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 "Paris, don't worry, you're a bright smart young lady, you can be anything you want, except a diplomat."
Guest Askewniverse Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 "If you're going to continue talking to me, you're going to have to do so in woofs." "You've been working with my daughter for far too long."
Guest Askewniverse Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Richard and Emily ruled in that segment. "You can't kill him, we're in a court room."
Guest *KNK* Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 That was a perfect fucking picture of quality entertainment. This season is so going to kick ass.
Guest *KNK* Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 I hate you all. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sounds like you watched the show tonight, everyone hates everyone.
Guest Askewniverse Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 It's only been one episode, but I miss the Lorelai-Rory interaction. Next week's episode looks pretty good.
