Guest *KNK* Report post Posted September 25, 2005 Orton as I said eariler shows alot of promise but to be expecting him lead that offense like Big Ben did last year with Pittsburgh is asking too much of him and shouldn't be saddled with that much "pressure". The Bears are starting something here with a sick defense and hopefully with the franchise QB they have been waiting for.

Fökai 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2005 We've got Eagles/Raiders on CBS...nothing else until the afternoon. Cowboys/Niners on FOX later today. CBS counters with Pats/Steelers. EDIT: Koy Detmer is throwing like a mofo on the sidelines. Bad news if you're starting McNabb in fantasy leagues.

USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2005 Actually Oakland fans has been respectful lately in San Diego, outside the occasional drunk. I've been working with the Chargers for two years now, so I went through two Raiders games.

I haven't seen that game so I was wondering why Detmer is warming up <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dierdorf says it's his groin. McNabb has thrown six consecutive incompletions, so the genius Andy Reid decides to keep him in there and run 20 passing plays as opposed to six running plays in the game so far. ----------- I swear to god, Kerry Collins is such GARBAGE and the CBS guys are completely ignoring it. He just underthrew Moss on an easy in route, causing Moss to stop a few yards short, slipped backward while getting hit by Michael Lewis...and the announcers said that it was his fault for "bobbling the ball". Guest *KNK* Report post Posted September 25, 2005 Kyle Orton with his fourth INT of the game and it's just the 1st half. That defense is really saving Chicago's ass
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2005 It's not like Westbrook has been doing well anyways in the game.
Guest *KNK* Report post Posted September 25, 2005 That fumble may be the turn-around that Chicago needed because the way the defense has been playing, The offense needs to capitalize on this and if they don't, they don't have a chance. Play is challenged and the angles aren't clear but It looks to me that Chicago will have the play stand.
Fökai 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2005 It's not like Westbrook has been doing well anyways in the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Redeemed himself on that drive (three rushes, 28 yards, TD). If the line tires, McNabb better watch out. He's getting great protection right now, but you can see the lack of mobility he has. Why didn't the Eagles sign a kicker this week? Simoneau blows the PAT, but really, is it his fault?

Guest *KNK* Report post Posted September 25, 2005 The Bears offense finally is alive once they just start running the ball instead of having Orton slingshot the ball into white jerseys. That penalty was bad. That was the kind of penalty Cincinnati gets.

Guest *KNK* Report post Posted September 25, 2005 Chicago can't even make a FG. If I played defense for the Chicago Bears, I wouldn't even speak to the offensive side of the team. Each team's offense are in bad shape and are relying on their defense. The Bengals lucked out getting to a quick start but they shouldn't be leading right now with that horrid offensive performence. If Chicago had a more seasoned QB and not a rookie, the story would be different here.
