Unlike what you were led to believe, I E-Mailed those Raw Rants to Barron (As well as about 12 other people) over The Course of several months from mid May to just last week. If that makes me a Stalker, well.... I guess The Stalker has a Stalker then!

He may have gotten off to a horrible start, but Colin Quinn ended up pretty funny. He was pretty much set up to fail from the getgo, and I think it overshadows some of the good work he did at the end.

 

While Tina and Amy are annoying, at least Tina still always had some funny jokes to make it somewhat enjoyable and had good time. Horatio was just awful, and his timing was worse then Amy's.

Uh, the fact that you said WU died when Fallon left makes me question your ability to judge the show. Fallow was garbage and only the novelty that was Tina Fey made it watchable and even THEN after two years Tina lost her novelty and it became utter and complete garbage unfit for human viewing.

 

Amy and Tina are interchangable but at this rate, Tina is an over-exposed hack so Amy gets to stay. And Sanz, despite his flaws, gives something NEW to the update desk and keeps Seth (who's only interesting these days playing bastards opposite Amy and Rachel) from getting over-exposed.

 

That said, they shouldn't have fucking gotten rid of Rob Riggle. He'd be perfect for WU, playing the overly macho alpha male WU guy to Amy's smarter and sarcastic counterpart.....

Why? Because we disagree. Jimmy was great on Weekend Update, and has been sorely underrated for his contributions to the desk. Tina gets all the attention because she has ovaries, but Jimmy contributed a lot to making the Fallon/Fey era successful. Tina was always better, but Jimmy more then held his own, and a lot of his bits were gold.

The only arguments I've heard pro-Horatio is that it's something new. Big whoop. Why is new good, if it's so horrible? The guy has NO comedic timing and was an embarassment last night. He's awful. Sanz has no pros. There is no good to him sitting at the desk. None.
