Guest I miss Test. Report post Posted October 15, 2005 Yes, but you have to sacrifice your high-powered passing attack to have a good defense. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This makes no sense whatsoever. How is making the offense worse going to help their defense. If anything, it should help them recruit on the defensive side of the ball, and improve their defense in the long run. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'll spell it out for you, ever annoying college football genius. The spread offense, combined with Leach never wanting to run the ball, elongates the game and opens the opportunity for more turnovers. They wouldn't be giving up like 500 yards a game if the offense wasn't this way. It's smart for Tech to play this way, as it's about the only way to get skill players into Lubbock. Now, be gone, put me on ignore... and try finding someone in Washington that can tolerate your grading, prickish attitude.

I say just hire yourself a Navy Seals or Army Ranger drill sgt. to do your strength and conditioning! Then they'll never tire out! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1) She. 2) Don't ever try fucking speaking for me, you bumbling oaf.

therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 Reggie Bush is winning the Heisman. That run was something else.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 15, 2005 7-0 USC. Good GOD, Brady Quinn has been hanging up some awful lame duck passes today. And SC strikes first like we'd expect if Notre Dame can't get their offense going.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 15, 2005 It wasn't just that one, he threw some passes that were WAY off-target when he wasn't getting any pressure.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 15, 2005 Tied up, 7-7 after a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the Trojans.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 USC killed themselves with penalties there. That was exactly what ND needed after the Bush touchdown. Weis is doing exactly what I expected, trying to play ball-control offense.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 15, 2005 Ha, SC came right back. 53-yard reception led to a Lendale White TD run. If Weis wasn't thinking ball-control, I'd say this'd be a shootout.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 14-7 USC. I think this game is showing how shitty of a recruiter Tyrone Willingham was for defensive players... Meanwhile, 0-0 in the PSU game and LSU is up 7-0.
Bored 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 I had to work a rare Saturday this morning so could only follow the early games online. Can anyone fill me in on these three games: Alabama/Mississppi, Minnesota/Wisconsin, Boston College/Wake Forest. How much did Alabama miss Prothro? How bad were the choke jobs of Minnesota and Wake Forest? Oh and what happened in the 4th quarter of Michigan State/Ohio State? Saw the Spartans led most of the way up until then. Looks like Rutgers will be a bowl team, 31-9 over Syracuse.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 Bama missed Prothro a good deal, but then again they could've been looking towards Tennessee next week.
Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 14-0 LSU. Russell has about enough time in the pocket to pass medical school. It's that bad.
UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 Notre Dame's tackles are getting away with holding against USC's DE's on nearly every play.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 14-14 tie, Quinn to Samardzjia.

therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 TD Notre Dame on a punt return. USC HAS to respond here, the ND defense is playing well and that stadium is LOUD.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 Oh man, Leinart throws a pick in the red zone. Last thing I'd expect him to do in that situation.

Bored 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 USC is proving that the only team that can beat them is themselves. Another bad penalty. This team is in real trouble today.
UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 Oh what a fucking bullshit call. Everyone on the field is pushing each other and you call personal foul on only USC?Fucking lame.

therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 Sounds like homerism to me! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wouldn't you rather want UCLA to end the USC undefeated streak? Man Fasano got LEVELLED by the white boy...
Guest *KNK* Report post Posted October 15, 2005 Why is it this weekend the "Unbeaten" streak became such a big issue? They have been "unbeaten" for awhile now. If this team wasn't ND, the issue wouldn't be about the winning streak. It's not because of how "good" ND but rather the "mystique" that ND had (If you think because Charlie Weis fixed the offense and got them a couple extra wins and has been brilliant at promoting the program, that they have recovered their "aura", you are nuts.) Right now, USC is beating USC. I'm not saying ND will collapse right here but you can't believe USC won't return for the second half and "turn it on" as they have all year. I don't understand that scheme USC has "turning it on" (Are they bored?) Also, stop worrying about the fucking rankings. It's all meaningless until the end of the regular season. There's a million rankings and all of them are flawed (some more so then others). Things usually shake things out in the end and if they don't, so what. NCAA wants the fucking constroversy. Purdue loses again, this time to Northwestern. Whoever called them to go unbeaten sure feels like a moron now.
