Guest FromBeyondTheGrave Report post Posted October 15, 2005 1-2-1 I think. Summerslam: Lost, ref stoppage Raw: No Contest, Side Effect off Stage Unforgiven: Victory by pin, Cage Match Homecoming: Loss to Edge, Ladder match. Raw, Sep/12th/05 from Little Rock, AR. Edge & Gene Snitsky defeated Matt Hardy & Big Show. Edge pinned Matt with the spear. 1-3-1, I guess.

Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 I love how they handled The Boogeyman debut. The UPN commercials, Cole's "What the hell?" and the over the top interview he gave that intentionally makes him out to be a bit of a joke.

Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 He's going to get over, trust me on this one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not after they see how bad he is in the ring he won't. I mean, I know there are things you can do to cover a person's shitiness up, but Boogeyman has had about 3-4 matches and they all lasted less than a minute. He flat out does not have the experience in the ring and people will see through it and shit on it. Trust me, me makes Carlito look like Bret Hart.

hyperchord24 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 No way that crowd popped when Teddy Long said the match is happening next week. Who cheers that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It looks like an edit. I thought I read in the spoilers that they had the match right then, but since they don't get the raw overrun, they might have edited it and added it to next week's episode. It may be just me but there's some continuity problems at the very end of the show to make me suspect that. Never have I ever seen a crowd CHEER when a good match that the fans want to see gets postponed to a later date. That ALWAYS gets a negative reaction. That's why I think they edited the very end. Dobbs 3K 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2005 I'm sure they dubbed in the cheering. Who in the crowd is going to care that a crowd in another city is getting a good match? I really liked Smackdown. OJ vs Benoit had a good story, and the 8 man tag was enjoyable. Anyone else surprised that Super Crazy got the pin there? I expected him to be in there doing the job... I thought the way they handled the Boogeyman was pretty creative. "Yeah, we were running promos for a new show." Takes some creative writing that we haven't seen in WWE for a while. But probably said to the crowd.. why not have it now and the dark match roles.

Vince will mistake this, and push him seriously, and then the fans are going to crap all over him. But during his first 2 or 3 months, he's going to be pretty over.
