I love how they handled The Boogeyman debut. The UPN commercials, Cole's "What the hell?" and the over the top interview he gave that intentionally makes him out to be a bit of a joke.

Not after they see how bad he is in the ring he won't. I mean, I know there are things you can do to cover a person's shitiness up, but Boogeyman has had about 3-4 matches and they all lasted less than a minute. He flat out does not have the experience in the ring and people will see through it and shit on it.

It looks like an edit. I thought I read in the spoilers that they had the match right then, but since they don't get the raw overrun, they might have edited it and added it to next week's episode. It may be just me but there's some continuity problems at the very end of the show to make me suspect that.

 

Never have I ever seen a crowd CHEER when a good match that the fans want to see gets postponed to a later date. That ALWAYS gets a negative reaction. That's why I think they edited the very end.

I really liked Smackdown. OJ vs Benoit had a good story, and the 8 man tag was enjoyable. Anyone else surprised that Super Crazy got the pin there? I expected him to be in there doing the job...

 

I thought the way they handled the Boogeyman was pretty creative. "Yeah, we were running promos for a new show." Takes some creative writing that we haven't seen in WWE for a while.

He's going to be treated as a joke and as such will get over as a joke. Vince will mistake this, and push him seriously, and then the fans are going to crap all over him.

 

But during his first 2 or 3 months, he's going to be pretty over.
