CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2005 http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/20...ship051018.html Interesting stuff. Does anyone think that the findings will change the Liberals' fortunes drastically? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, even with Martin cleared, the CPC did have the lead for about 3 days. The Liberals have retaken it, and it's about where it was in June '04. 35-25-15 for Grits, PC and NDP. Fuck, I hope there's not an election. I still don't feel there'd be a change, it'd still be a Lib minority, but we don't need one. We still haven't seen this incarnation of the Grits in action, really, just lots of squablling. Red Baron 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2005 There's going to be an election in the spring time, mark my words, but if Harper is still at the helm, the Conservatives are going to lose more seats, probably and most likely to the NDP or even Liberals, except for Quebec, and I wouldn't be surprised if they get to be the loyal opposition this year,
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2005 I wouldn't trust Stephen Harper to lead a starving man to dinner, much less this entire country.
dubq 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2005 As a supporter of the CPC, I have to say that Stephen Harper isn't doing us any favours. He needs to lose the next election so that we can be done with him and finally have a real leader who isn't some wierdo alien robot.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2005 or a Reformist for that matter. Hell kick out Deborah Gray out as well, and I might sway my vote. And if they really want to sway my vote, bring in Joe Clark.
