Sideburnious Posted October 22, 2005 Report Posted October 22, 2005 Is that real money or "game" money?
Guest Biggles Posted October 22, 2005 Report Posted October 22, 2005 There are free games, and there are some you could spend/win actual $$$. Pokerroom.com is where I go and spend some time when I need a quick hit of pseudo-gambling.
TheFranchise Posted October 22, 2005 Author Report Posted October 22, 2005 Is that real money or "game" money? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That wasn't for real money, no, I do play for real, but when I do tourniments, I only practice. Have a go, from 888.com.

I just spent 3 1/2 hours playing to win $2 in the 2400 person freeroll. Totally worth it.

Sideburnious Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 Meh, I don't play online, only in the company of others. It's more a social thing than a fun/pastime thing. I'm pretty good at Texas Hold'Em.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 I fold everything and frighten people when I stay in.
Guest SavageRulz Posted November 5, 2005 Report Posted November 5, 2005 I play for money, both online and offline. Never huge amounts, although if I was to win one of the online tournaments it'd be a hefty whack, but i'm usually happy to just get into the placings and win back my stake really. Again, offline it's never for very much, but even a few quid here and there makes it that much more exciting. for money, is the only way to play
Guest Leelee Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 I played with real money for some time... just sucking up bonuses, and wasting a ton of time playing the required hands. Made a couple months of rent out of nothing... can't complain. But, now, I'm burnt out on poker and never want to play it again.
