Cheapest, easiest way to put pictures on

Recommended Posts

Guest wildpegasus

Hey everyone.

I'm technology defiecient so I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Simply put, I'm looking for the cheapest, easiest way to put pictures on the internet. I want to take a picture or two of myself so I can participate in the "What do you look like?" thread among other things.

Thanks. And remember I'm cheaper than cheap!

And can this be done on any sort of laptop computer? I'm thinking of buying one. A cheap one of course.

Lol, it's not as complicated as you may think.

Try

www.photobucket.com

It's free.

I do use photobucket.

What I'm wondering is how to take pictures from real life and get them on your computer.

Ohhh ok. What you need is a scanner and a program that would allow you to export the image from the scanner and possibly some small editing.

www.pricegrabber.com or ebay.com and search for a cheap scanner and the scanner should come with software for scanning.

The absolute cheapest way would be to ask a friend with a digital camera to take a few pics of you then upload them to your computer.

Buy this camera. You can get it on clearance at your local Walgreens. I have a few of these cameras for work and personal use and they work well. I recently bought two more, for the low, low price of $40 each.

It comes with a USB cable that you plug into the camera and into the USB port on your computer. Take a picture of your ugly mug, plug the camera in, click and drag the picture from the camera into "My Pictures" and upload it to the internet.

I might as well pick one up. My mom and stepdad have a nice Kodak digicam that I can use, but they won't let it leave the house unless it's in their possession. If this camera is $4o at Walgreens, that's cheap enough, and I can get the 15% employee discount on top of that.
