Almost Finished School

I thought I'd bring up a topic that's been on my mind for a little while.

 

I'm sort of at a point in my life where I must start building a life for myself.

I'm really starting to get worried that I'm on a path that will lead to disappointment and failure. I'm working towards a career in Television Production and I'm not sure I'll be able to land and hold a job. This has got me depressed and worried.

 

Really, all I was looking for in this thread was to find out if many others around my age have had similar worries and if I'm just encountering normal nervousnes due "coming of age" so to speak.

Well, you're in a shitty field in regards to job prospects. Not saying you can't land a job, but it'll probably be tough, unless you kissed a lot of booty in school and you can get a prof to hook you up with a job.

 

This coming from someone with a Journalism degree, so we're kinda related, although I'm more of a print guy as opposed to broadcast.

 

Where are you now and where do you plan to go when you graduate?...

I'm graduating in May too, though I'm pushing back entry into the real world for another 3 years with law school because you can't earn shit with a history degree...
