Kurt Angle Mark Posted March 16, 2006 Author Report Posted March 16, 2006 Entertainment Weekly reviews a few One Year Later titles http://www.ew.com/ew/article/commentary/0,...21_7_0_,00.html I couldn't agree more with the Superman, Batman, Aquaman reviews warning:article contains spoilers
Renegade Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 Besides firestorm and detective comics, I thought all the other 52 titles have been really poor.
ZGangsta Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Word on the street is that the new Aquaman is supposed to be pretty great, and with Busiek writing I suppose that's almost a given (though I really didn't like his latest JLA run). Apparently the buying public agrees since it sold out. Anyone picked it up? I havn't been to the store in a while, but next time I go I'm going to see if I can try and find Superman, Aquaman, and Detective Comics.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted March 23, 2006 Author Report Posted March 23, 2006 I read Batman #651, Manhunter #20, Supergirl and LOSH #16, Robin #148 and Catwoman #53 this week and in my IMO they were all fantastic especially Robin. , Anyway the three big things I learned reading these books. *******HUGE IC spoiler and possible 52 spoilers ********* 1. Doomsday returns in Infinite Crisis, leading to a huge battle royal in Metropolis (Manhunter #20 which anwers a question raised in Superman #650) 2. Batman is not the father of Catwoman's daughter. Well that is what I got from their conversation, anyway. Plus Batman holding a Teddy Bear was the best panel ever.(Catwoman) 3. Batman, Nightwing and Robin spent the missing year(or only part of it) in Budapest. For What? remains a mystery.(Robin)
Zorin Industries Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 I'm really loving the way Batman's being written now. Hes still the Dark Knight, but he actually seems like a human being for the first time in years
Kurt Angle Mark Posted March 29, 2006 Author Report Posted March 29, 2006 Brave New World and The Flash previews http://www.newsarama.com/dcnew/June06previews/previews.htm
Vampiro69 Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 That art on the Freedom Fighters issue looks horrible.
Ted the Poster Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 The new Atom costume is pretty shitty.
Vampiro69 Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 DC must have hired Rob Leifield to design their new costumes.

Guest treecelightning Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 I'm reading Aquaman right now, and I think it's fantastic. I also happen to be a big fan of the "EPIC QUEST", so YMMV here. It's written well, and both issues of this story have kept me very interested. I strongly recommend it.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted June 6, 2006 Author Report Posted June 6, 2006 Justice League of America #1 Preview (Brad Meltzer and Ed Benes)
Vampiro69 Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 That preview totally convinced me to pick up that issue. I liked that the first person mentioned for the league was Captain Marvel. SHAZAM!
Special K Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 Oooh! Maybe Hitman will finally get on the team!
Dr. Zaius Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 The entire reason for that first page was the last panel.
