Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Even though I want to see USC lose I just dont think UCLA has enough on defense to hang.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 If they keep tackling like that, it's going to be a long game for UCLA.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Are they going for strips rather than wrapping up?

Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 What is with Leinart so far? All his throws have been high.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Leinart is off so far but if they can't tackle Bush and White it doesn't matter.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Leinart is way off on his throws so far. Bush better be on his game...he looks to be, though.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Their kicker only has 10 attempts (now 11) on the season? Jeez.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Ok not scoring on that drive isn't good for UCLA. And they still haven't exhibited much defense. And Leinart has settled in. UCLA can't win.
Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Touchdown SC, Leinart to Jarrett.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Navy's up 42-17 in the 4th now. Their fullback just ran untouched up the middle for a 67-yard TD.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Everyone was saying that USC probably wouldn't drop out of the national title game if they lose(which they won't) just like OU from 2 years ago. But don't the computers hate USC? They loved OU and that is why they stayed in. Even if they drop to 2nd on everyone's ballot won't the computers take them right out of it? Â They're 2nd or worse in all computer rankings as of now. Â Combine a drop in computer rankings with a poll number drop of at least 3 and you've got the recipe for either a Texas vs. Penn State or Texas vs. LSU game. teke184 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 WOW... Â UCLA just downed a punt on the 3 thanks to a great catch by a UCLA defender.

A big difference between those situations is that the non-poll aspects count much less than they did when OU made it. Also the system had all sorts of other factors in it at the time. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 I can't see USC dropping below 2nd in the polls. Would a USC loss to UCLA really be worse than Penn State's loss to Michigan, or LSU's loss to Tennessee? And since the human polls are worth 2/3 of the score, USC would probably still be 2nd in the BCS.  Reggie Bush is going to make sure all these questions are moot, though. Hogan Made Wrestling 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 That "Harris Poll" segment from ABC is really childish. Here's a tip for the media: if you wanted your poll to matter in determining the national championship, you shouldn't have told the BCS to stop using. Don't mock other polls that only exist because of your whining.

The segment today was top 5 Reggie Bush plays. It just seemed really childish to name it that. Haw haw the Harris Poll sucks the AP Poll is all that matters. We get it already. If I wanted to hear that I'd turn on ESPN.

USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 I wonder if USC continues the way they're going and finishes with 50+ points, that gotta be a better statement than Texas killing an unranked Colorado.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 UCLA can't make a tackle to save their lives and Bush is working behind a really good O-Line so one would believe he should put up huge rushing numbers.
