Slayer Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 On another note, I never know who to go for in the Army-Navy game. Nearly all my friends and relatives who served were in the Air Force
The Czech Republic Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 How is that even a hypothetical scenario? The Falcons would protect Vick
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Next year is going to have a loaded Heisman trophy field with Young, Brady Quinn, Adrian Peterson, probably one of Chad Henne and Michael Hart, LenDale White (if he stays), and whoever else breaks out next season.
2GOLD Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 How is that even a hypothetical scenario? The Falcons would protect Vick The owner got drunk. Really, really drunk As for me, my father and grandfather were Army so I guess I have to cheer for Army. But the Army unis remind me of Notre Dame which makes me want to cheer for Navy.
Slayer Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Schwarzkopf vs. McCain... that was pretty cool
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I only root for Navy because they've been a bit better than Army in recent years.
2GOLD Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Schwarzkopf vs. McCain... that was pretty cool Cept I really felt like the other guy could make McCain cry if they were in a room together.
Damaramu Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Well how can we fairly answer that? Vick has been proven as an NFL talent. Young hasn't played a down in the NFL. And Slayer do you have a cowboy hat? I promise you I don't and nobody in my family does. It's seriously not a big think in Oklahoma.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I hope Vince Young goes undrafted though. That'd be amusing. Especially after Mack Brown's hype. After all they did get burned on Simms.
Guest Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 (edited) I have a cowboy hat and I live in California. Edited December 3, 2005 by Kingofthe909
therealworldschampion Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Screw Colorado, I'm watching the Army-Navy game.
Damaramu Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I hope Vince Young goes undrafted though. That'd be amusing. Especially after Mack Brown's hype. After all they did get burned on Simms. You're joking right? Mel Kiper at the beginning of this season had him projected at #2 if he came out. He'll be 1, 2, or 3 next season.
2GOLD Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I have one and I live in California. I own two but I live in Delaware. Kinda right down the middle of the line. I forgot how much I miss a good option running team. Fuck Calhoun and his passing game shit. Nebraska should be a big corn feed fuckers busting open holes for a future undrafted quarterback and a running back who'll either fumble alot or need to learn to say "not guilty your honor".
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I don't own a cowboy hat and I live in California as well. And Oklahomans wear cowboy hats, just look at Jim Ross.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 There are a decent number of cowboy hats around here. The only people who wear them are sorority girls though. The sorostitute outfit of choice this year seems to be a pair of too-tight jeans, a white or pink tank top, and a cowboy hat. And a white hoodie with pink lettering if it's cold out.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Dama seems to think I care about Kiper. I'll clear it up: I don't.
Guest Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Do you prefer that or your sombrero? My sombrero that my grandfather gave me takes the cake.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I'll also take this time to tell Alkeiper that I sympathetize with him as his school is getting mauled today 41-6 at the half.
razazteca Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 What is the point in running up the score.......41-3 Texas is just killing Colorado.
Damaramu Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Dama seems to think I care about Kiper. I'll clear it up: I don't. The point is you seem to think there is a possibility he'd go undrafted which is hilarious b/c it's so far from the truth. I still don't see a lot of people in cowboy hats around here. I don't know why you guys don't believe me but it's true. When I do see them they're worn by either someone over the age of 50 or a Sheriff.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Dama needs to take reading comprehension. I hope Vince Young goes undrafted though. That'd be amusing. Especially after Mack Brown's hype. After all they did get burned on Simms.=/=you seem to think there is a possibility he'd go undrafted
Edwin MacPhisto Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 It's not really running up the score if it's the first half and your conference championship game. Texas has matched what they did against Colorado the first time this season, and now they have a lead pretty much beyond any possibility of overcoming. Young probably won't play more than a few series in the third quarter.
Slayer Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 What is the point in running up the score "Statement" game, probably
therealworldschampion Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Dama, I didn't want to draw you into an argument, just having a little fun at your expense since you're the Sooner pulling for Texas. I love the little skits that the Army and Navy do regarding each other...
Vern Gagne Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 How does a underachieving 6-5 team, end up having both cordinators hired as head coaches?
therealworldschampion Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 How does a underachieving 6-5 team, end up having both cordinators hired as head coaches? I assume you're talking about UVA. Al Golden is from the Delaware Valley, which is why he got the Temple job.
Guest Leelee Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 The point is you seem to think there is a possibility he'd go undrafted which is hilarious b/c it's so far from the truth. I doubt that will happen... but, I think it's just as funny that some places are projecting him as a Top 5 pick. At this point, Young has no shot of being an NFL starting QB. He has to make big chances to his mechanics.
Guest Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 The guy can throw a good deep ball but he has a lot of problems making reads.
