Just once I would like to see a match announcement/challenge done in the least dramatic way possible. Like having Orton stand in the ring, and somebody hands him a note which he reads.

Since Rob Schneider has a WWE connection, they'll go the South Park route where he eats Papa Shango's pot roast possessed by Taker's soul.

Good to see Lashley can actually talk.

 

Is it just me, or does Lashley actually act more like a tweener than a true face? He's dominant, overpowering, and has a rather brutal style in the ring. None of that really exemplifies a wrestling face.

Goldberg was still undefeated, and had a little feud with Meng that included a match on Nitro, I think it was. Usually in Meng's matches, they counted the pin when he had his Tongan Death Grip on his oppenent, but for that one Goldberg match, they refused to count the pin. In my mind, then and now, he won the WCW World Title.

 

It was either on 8/10/98 or 11/10/98.
