Downhome Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 The big swerve will be that Taker's soul has possesed Boogeyman's body. Is it safe to assume that this will lead to wacky hijinks? They will indeed...ensue!!! I like how that explosion knocked Orton down, but not the fans standing right next to him. OMGWTF HELL IN THE CELL HOLY CRAP SHOCKERZ~~~!!!!!!!
ChrisMWaters Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 The big swerve will be that Taker's soul has possesed Boogeyman's body. That wouldn't work. I don't think that Boogeyman, at this time, has even HALF of Taker's workrate.

I don't think that Boogeyman, at this time, has even HALF of Taker's workrate. And THAT would be the truly terrifying part of this whole feud if WWE really went the wacky hijinks route.

The lack of talent would be explained by saying that since Taker has been killed so many different times, his soul is no longer complete.
BorneAgain Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 (edited) Just once I would like to see a match announcement/challenge done in the least dramatic way possible. Like having Orton stand in the ring, and somebody hands him a note which he reads. Orton: Turns out I've got a Hell in a Cell match with Undertaker at Armageddon. Hmm, that's interesting. Guess I'd better prepare. Edited December 3, 2005 by BorneAgain
Downhome Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I figured it out. Since Rob Schneider has a WWE connection, they'll go the South Park route where he eats Papa Shango's pot roast possessed by Taker's soul. Rob Schneider is...The Undertaker!!!
Conspiracy_Victim Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Poor Simon. He's not even a JTTS anymore. I shall henceforth know him only as a Jobber To The Newbies (JTTN).
ChrisMWaters Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Poor Simon. He's not even a JTTS anymore. I shall henceforth know him only as a Jobber To The Newbies (JTTN). He called it (during his mini-feud with Lashley) being a member of the Smackdown welcoming committee.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 That was a great reaction shot by Bischoff to the Boogeyman.
Downhome Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 From...The Bottomless Pit? Well, at least it's not Parts Unknown.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 The Bottomless Pit must be right next door to Parts Unknown. Nice entrance, but they need to cut down on the smoke.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 New winner for best hometown.. The Bottomless Pit. Yeah..
ChrisMWaters Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I think I have a new favorite hometown. And I can't wait to play this guy in a game.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I dont really think that was botched.. and sliding backwards out of the ring is a nice ring exit. But this is still wrestlecrap.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Eating worms. I hope Tommy Dreamer instructed him on how to eat disgusting things properly. And his finisher is a Faceplant Bodyslam? I guess I'll buy that.
Downhome Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I love that finisher by the way, the entrance and exit is fine, but wow, that's just out there.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 And we go from The Boogeyman to...Bret "Hit Man" Hart. ...well, I guess back in his hayday, Hart would have tried to carry someone like Boogeyman to a good match. Like he tried with Mantaur, Isaac Yankem, Jean-Pierre Layfette and such.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I just realized.. He should be from.. Under your bed The back of your closet The dark corner of your room etc..
Conspiracy_Victim Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 KENNEDY!!!! inserting himself in the fan interview = awesome.

ChrisMWaters Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 That Lashley video package makes me remember the old "MONSTER MENG!" video packages in WCW whenever they gave Meng a push.
Downhome Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 That Lashley video package makes me remember the old "MONSTER MENG!" video packages in WCW whenever they gave Meng a push. I miss Meng. I'll never forget when he "beat" Goldberg for the world title, but they didn't even count the pinfall for that one match.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Good to see Lashley can actually talk. Is it just me, or does Lashley actually act more like a tweener than a true face? He's dominant, overpowering, and has a rather brutal style in the ring. None of that really exemplifies a wrestling face.

ChrisMWaters Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 And I personally find it funny that they don't use the CURRENT Raw match graphics for when Raw guys come to Smackdown.

I'll never forget when he "beat" Goldberg for the world title, but they didn't even count the pinfall for that one match. Remind me, when was that? Goldberg was still undefeated, and had a little feud with Meng that included a match on Nitro, I think it was. Usually in Meng's matches, they counted the pin when he had his Tongan Death Grip on his oppenent, but for that one Goldberg match, they refused to count the pin. In my mind, then and now, he won the WCW World Title. It was either on 8/10/98 or 11/10/98.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 For hell in a cell, I Think it would be cool if they actually lit the cage on fire like in those match graphics..
