OAO Smackdown thread

Recommended Posts

I coulda swore for a half-second the subtitle to this thread was "The Undertaker in the Mirror Universe".

I wonder how would the Undertaker be in the Mirror Universe? Clean shaven, wears all white, has Paul Bearer as his manager still, the Orton feud is great??

I literally got up and yelled at my tv during the orton-taker silliness/ its been awhile since wwe got me to do that. I was mad that Benoit lost cuz he cost me on fantasy team AGAIN. AT least I know hell be winning next sunday.

As for Boogie-Maul (as RD and Blade have dubbed him on wrestlecrap radio), I like him for some reason. Maybe its cuz that they arent pushing his character seriously,as I initially thought they would. If this was the 80s, hed be a main event heel, but now hes a cool mid-card comedy face/tweener

It's "Snitsky Heat."

And his championship runs probably drew money.

Mirrorverse Taker would actually be Chris Jericho. Bizarre I know. Mirrorverse Chris Jericho would somehow be Lucy The Dog.

You know, now that I think about it, Taker's Smackdown shenanigans aren't even close in their shittiness to the god awful angle that Hogan vs Warrior was. Hell, this kind of over the top stuff is what I want to see from UT, who is supposed to be some kind of an unnatural zombie, unlike Warrior who is just a douche with a weird face paint pattern. As far as kayfabe goes, Taker having those powers actually makes "sense". I gotta say that I was entertained.

Yeah, I've never minded a bad Taker Feud. Hell, I am someone who was amused by the 10 jobbers putting him in the coffin at RR 94. In fact that match gets a lot of shit it doesn't deserve. Say what you want about it, but it DID make you want to see UT get his revenge on Yokozuna, led to a profitable house show feud between the two, and finally a satisfying blowoff where Chuck Norris kicked the shit out of the 10 jobbers. What's not to like?

Chuck's kick to Double J is probably what led to the mental problems he has today.

"The Royal Rumble is going to be chaos. Thirty men vying to be the best in wrestling. A whole lot could happen, good and bad. I've appointed myself special outside referee to keep things in line. The eyes of this ranger will be upon you; any wrong you do I'm gonna see."

Wow, that may have been the worst episode of Smackdown I've ever watched. I can't believe how cheesy everything involving The Undertaker and Orton came off.
