Art Sandusky Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 I thought "Korned" would have meant that it was taken up by the Freak demographic.
Guest The Pit Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 Of course you would think that, because you are, in fact, an idiot. Call me in the morning after your drugs have worn off and maybe I will allow you a modicum of respect.
Twisted Intestine Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 My interpretation of Fight Club: Shows how society has devolved into nothing more than consumers who work for the dollar. At the core of every persons soul is a primitive violent being, and all the luxuries we've inquired over the years are just masks. If human beings went back to the way they're supposed to be, basic, the world would be better off. Also a comment on religion, and how fast we are to believe in anything that we're told. I don't think Chuck has talked about the meaning behind it, and I don't think he should. I think art is better off left for the individual to depict.
Nighthawk Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 I don't get the Ellis/Chuck comparison. To me, it's like saying Hemingway is a better writer than Stephen King. Maybe it's true... but why was it even considered?
