Wait, you better not mean that "From the Vault" BS. It's seven matches, admittedly good ones, and minor backstory. I DEMAND (you hear me?!) at least fifteen matches and a complete life retrospective.

....I'd settle for just the matches.

Dude, I'm a pretty big HBK mark but they would have to repeat all 7 of those matches and include others that I already have on a WWE DVD to get up to 15. The only stand out HBK matches that I can think of that have yet to make WWE DVD is HBK/JJ from an IYH in 95 and HBK/Hall: Ladder Match 2. He has a book for the life retroperspective.

DISC 1: THE BEGINNING YEARS

The Rockers debut match in the WWE. Against whoever it may be.

The Rockers vs. The Hart Foundation -- November 1990. The phantom title switch with the top rope breaking off. By all accounts, it's a good match, and historical for what it could have been.

Shawn Michaels vs. Marty Jannetty -- June 1993, with the debut of Diesel as well.

Shawn Michaels vs. Davey Boy Smith -- Final Saturday Night Main Event match. First singles title win of Shawn's career

Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart -- Survivor Series 1992. Excellent match and the first Main Event between the two.

Throw in a few extras here about the Rockers, about his first singles matches, winning the Intercontinental title, fighting Bret Hart in his first PPV Main Event, etc. Include the Barber Shop segment again as well.

-----------------------------------------------

DISC 2: THE SHOWSTOPPER

Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon -- SummerSlam 1995. Very good ladder match that rivals anything else WWE put out that year.

Shawn Michaels vs. Jeff Jarrett -- In Your House II. Incredibly well-paced and hot match, leading to Shawn winning back the Intercontinental Title.

Shawn Michaels vs. Steve Austin -- King of the Ring 1997. Perhaps Match of the Year for WWE, if it wasn't for the weak ending. Just an excellent match that not many have even seen, and it shows off Michaels nicely.

Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart -- Survivor Series 1997. Must be included for historical purposes, especially since the entire match itself has only been released on the Confidential DVD no one has bothered to buy.

Shawn Michaels vs. British Bulldog -- One Night Stand 1997. Very good match with a hot British crowd, leading to HBK's first and only European title win. Also made him the first Grand Slam winner as well. If Shawn really wants to get honest here, he could talk about the situation surrounding this match.

Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker -- Royal Rumble 1998. Important for historical purposes as it's ultimately what led to Shawn's downfall for four years. Plus it's a rather good match on its own.

Now Shawn can talk about the highlights of his career in this time period as well as the lowlights. From DX to the Screwjob to everything in between, it could be very interesting to hear Shawn's viewpoints on this stuff.

---------------------------------------------

DISC 3: THE COMEBACK

Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho -- WrestleMania XIX. Shows Michaels finally returning to WrestleMania, five years after he last competed there.

Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Benoit -- "Showdown in the Desert" in early 2004. Considered by some to be MOTY and is a rather difficult match to track down.

Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H vs. Chris Benoit -- Backlash 2004. This match might be controversial to include, since it seems to focus primarily more on Benoit than anyone else. But the match also centers around Shawn Michaels, the hatred of the Montreal fans towards him, and how he lashes out right back against them. The spot with the Sharpshooter and Earl Hebner is particularly noteworthy. Plus not as many people remember this one as the WrestleMania XX match and that's a shame.

Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H -- Hell-in-the-Cell at Vengeance 2004. Not saying I necessarily agree with including it, but WWE considers it to be a classic and it was basically the blowoff to their very long feud.

Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle -- WrestleMania XXI. I mean, they're going to have to include this one, just because of the accolades it received from many.

And this is where Shawn could talk about finding religion, how it convinced him to step back into the ring, and how he thinks he's changed from the earlier days of his career. Yeah, might not be as interesting as Disc 2, but would still bring about some good matches. Throw in some highlights of the 2002 Elimination Chamber for good measure as well.

---------------------------------------

There. Found 16 matches. And this is without including the Shawn/Razor WrestleMania X Ladder match, Shawn/Taker Hell-in-the-Cell, Shawn/Bret Iron Man, or Shawn/Mankind Mind Games match. If WWE wanted to include those again, they would have an even easier time with this DVD.

Shawn Michaels deserves a longer featurette DVD on him, without question. He absolutely has the match material to pull it off.
