Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2005 The only decent things to come out of WCW in 2000 (that I can remember) was Three Count w/ Tank Abbott dancing and the Boogie Knights. YES! The Disqo Duck! Bring that thing back! Didn't they have a ladder match on Nitro between The Boogie Knights and The Filthy Animals where the duck was on the top of the ladder instead of a belt? In fact I might have that match on tape! Disco Fever, Disco Fever, Disco Fever Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah He's So Cocky, He's so cool, He's just a Disco Dancing Fool When he steps out on the floor, the Girls are Screaming, we want more more more. Disco Fever, Disco Fever, Disco Fever Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Remember when Steiner beat up the Disqo duck? yea i have that on tape, the announcers were overjoyed
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2005 I think wcw died simply because the wwf got more popular and all the new (and some of the old) fans were conditioned to hate wcw and think it sucked.but as to compare wwe 2005 to wcw 2000? Id say wcw 2000 was better cuz I was personally entertained more that year. sure it was lot of crap, but funny crap, and funny crap is better than unfunny crap. Fro 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2006 WWE overall was better, but late 2000 WCW was probably better than late 2005 WWE. And the few months of 2001 that WCW survived were pretty fun, especially since AJ Styles came in and they finally signed Christopher Daniels. Essentially they finally started building up new talent in that last Russo run and some of the Power Plant guys were finally starting to get good by the time the company folded. cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2006 Yeah the last few PPVs WCW had were quite solid I thought. In fact the action on the 2001 shows were better than what WWE is currently doing.
