Damaramu 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 Also defensive tackle stud Gerald McCoy is supposed to go to OU but he hasn't declared yet. DeMarco Murray's decision was hilarious. He goes "I pick the University of....." and he grabbed the USC hat. Then he tossed it down and put on the OU hat and the announcer said "The University of what?" and he said "The University of Oklahoma!" He's not a big guy like Peterson but he's supposed to be fast as hell and have some moves and he'll back AD up. I heard that Notre Dame was pushing hard for McCoy. Yeah but McCoy is from Oklahoma and his daddy is pushing hard for him to go to OU. And it seems in recruiting that what daddy wants usually rules. I wonder why Murray would pick OU over USC? I mean in all reality the worst case scenario is that he sits behind LenDale White for a year and provides a combo with him. Now though he's going to have to sit behind Peterson for possibly two years and will probably have to fight with Allan Patrick as well.
Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 USC is going to be loaded at running back. They are on pretty much every top running back's top five list. I was stunned when Jai Eugene, the top corner in the country, chose Michigan. I was sure he was going to LSU. Also, Chris Wells, the Ohio State commit, is going to be a fucking stud. therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2006 That McCoy you were talking about Dama eliminated ND from his final four list of schools, so my point was moot anyway.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2006 I'm just glad we got DeMarco Murray because I was afraid AD was going to scare away any new talent and then we were going to hit a drought at RB after he graduated for a while.
