RepoMan Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 If WWE actually knew how to book tall guys with limited talent, we'd be more optimistic. How do you sucessfully book tall guys with limited talent?

How do you sucessfully book tall guys with limited talent? Not going 20:00 in the main event just because that's the formula would be a good start.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Tag team and short matches work too. Goldberg did pretty well in WCW in nice, short matches where he could hit his crowd pleasers and get out. Also, Bradshaw was fine as long as he was tag teaming, as I recall.
Vyce Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 It's a little silly to call a guy with a background in amatuer wrestling, judo, free style wrestling, football, sambo and rugby as well as a background in theatre and acting a "talentless hoss" with absolutely nothing to back it up. If I were handpicking the background I wanted for a developmental wrestler, I don't think I could do much better than Prudius' resume. Only time will tell though of course. Because we all know, being a big guy with a background in football, amateur wrestling, or martial arts GUARANTEES you're going to be a good worker.
benoit4hor Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 Heres a link to an extensive bio, featuring pictures and a promo video. http://www.sambo.com/t&t/prudius.html
The Czech Republic Posted January 21, 2006 Author Report Posted January 21, 2006 Okay, people are gonna misread "promo"

It doesn't, but it also doesn't mean that people should shit all over him before seeing him in the ring.

Except the whole time that was going on people were pissed because Goldberg was making the entire roster look pitiful. When Goldberg beats Fit Finley in thirty-seconds, how's that make all the people in the Hardcore Division look when Finley went over all of them?
