Guest Kimaster1976 Report post Posted January 23, 2006 I am looking to get an external DVD writer for my laptop. I am looking to copy some DVD's from England and America, my question is does it have to be a multi-region, dvd-r, dual-layer etc.? I really know nothing about this subject so any help or recommendations would be much appreciated.

razazteca 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2007 If you don't care for the extras and hate the previews at the beginning then I would suggest using the Re-Authoring option in DVD Shrink as it will give you better quality rip. It could give you an extra 10%-20% in picture quality. Really all you need is DVD Shrink and DVDecripter.
