"Book of Daniel" taken off TV; moved to NBC website

It seems all the screaming and ranting that the religious right(eous) has been doing has finally gotten to NBC. They have, as of this week, 1/27/06, pulled their new show, "The Book of Daniel," off network TV, and have placed it as a webcast on their NBC.com website.

The show bombed and drew no advertising.

Yeah, it wasn't all that great. I was enjoying it, but probably would've stopped watching by the end of it.

 

Same with God, The Devil, and Bob. That got taken off the air not just because Christians were pissed, but because the ratings were bad and the show itself was AWFUL. I rented it on DVD and didn't even watch the third disc because it was so unbelievably stupid.

Barron's right. The show was getting massacred in the ratings, so NBC just put a bullet in it's head. It was a mercy killing.
