Guest Brian Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 From Da Meltz: Johnny Ace used Eddy Gurrero’s funeral as a recruiting center and that how Charlie Haas got resigned. Ace’s actions annoyed a lot of people. Haas wasn’t the only one either…
2GOLD Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Let me break out the world's smallest violin for them. Then let them grumble while they cash their checks. I'm tired of hearing how upset they are when they do nothing. Absolutely nothing. They should just take the rape of their friend's memory like men. Rey could have said, "no" but he didn't. He said, "ok boss, sounds great". And that's what they all say. They will call him brillant and genuis to his face and then grumble like big shots when he's not around. It's became a bigger joke than using Eddie's memory.
2GOLD Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 The actual newspapers got their information from the hospital where he died. So unless you think a hospital was willing to throw their name into the toilet to promote a wrestling angle, it doesn't work as a theory. If no hospital was involved? Yeah, I could see Vince being sleazy enough to do it. The hospital that kept Andy Kaufman overnight after the Jerry Lawler piledriver must be pissed by now! In Memphis at the time? They were probably fucking honored. Plus death is alot different from neck injury.

Mysterio could have said no, but then he would have buried on TV. WWE could have told him not to go to the funeral, and use his career as a bargaining chip. Either way, the WWE was going to use Eddie's death one way or another. Yes, he could quit on principle, but I'm beginning to think that he thought this was a good idea at the start. And it might have been, if he had been working on a real TV show or on a real sport. But WWE is neither.

BorneAgain Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 I just now realized where this all ultimately going; Orton doing a satitical recreation of Eddie's demise, with sombero on head and chimichanga in his mouth when "Eddie" collapses. Complete with Chavo Guerrero cameo. Is such a scenario out of the question at this point?
