So unless you think a hospital was willing to throw their name into the toilet to promote a wrestling angle, it doesn't work as a theory. If no hospital was involved? Either way, the WWE was going to use Eddie's death one way or another. Yes, he could quit on principle, but I'm beginning to think that he thought this was a good idea at the start. And it might have been, if he had been working on a real TV show or on a real sport. But WWE is neither.

I just now realized where this all ultimately going; Orton doing a satitical recreation of Eddie's demise, with sombero on head and chimichanga in his mouth when "Eddie" collapses. Complete with Chavo Guerrero cameo.

 

 

Is such a scenario out of the question at this point?
