Question about Ports/bitTorrents?

I'm unconnectable on some of my bitTorrent sites, and someone told me to find an open port and use it.

 

However, I live on a college campus where the school's router has most of the ports stealthed or closed, so my UL/DL ratio suckes right now for some sites. Anybody have any suggestions on ports, etc?

If the router is out of your control, you can't do anything about the ports.
