SpikeFayeJettEdBebop 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2006 I know there was a topic similar to this at one point but I couldn't find it. I have decided that I wanna lose some weight(not too much, but some) but my basic goal is to lose some of the fat on my midsection and define my abs a little bit. I've started eatting healthy and running everyday, but that's about it. Any other tips?? Anything would be appreciated...
Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2006 Get in a sauna and lose twenty lbs in two days. Tell us your results. Serious answer: Sports would help, stuff like basketball or wrestling that involve cardio work but also lots of muscle exertion. I prefer wrestling to most sports since it's go go go all the time as opposed to many of the breaks you get in other sports. It also involves strengthening you up quite a bit. Of course, if you don't like a sport you won't do it, so I suppose running and weight lifting is the way to go for you. Eating right helps as well, leaner protein sources, simple carbs as opposed to complex carbs. Broccoli and cauliflower being two good examples of simple carbs. Those are the best since they help break down the food a lot faster due to their high fibre and it wont sit in you for so long. The simplest way to define health is this; if you use more energy than you take in, you will lose weight. If you take in more energy than you use, you will gain weight.
