Does anyone know the contract status of the guys who had been in OVW and were on either smackdown or rwa?

 

Like: Doug Basham,Danny Basham(damaja),Eugene(nick dinsmore),Rob Conway.

Danny Basham: Raw, but he hasn't appeared on Raw yet

 

Doug Basham: Smackdown, but whenever he does wrestle (which is rare), it's only on Velocity, which is now a WWE.com show.

 

Eugene: Raw

 

Conway: Raw

 

Edit: Oh, I missed the contract status part. Sorry, I'm not sure about that.

The Bashams I can almost guarantee will be on the chopping block after Wrestlemania. Rob Conway is also likely, with Eugene being the least likely, but still probable.

And it is a shame if they are cut from the roster. The WWE could have had them feuding with each other and bringing them along together at a pace that had them as solid midcarders at this point. However, we have to stay in that same cycle only to bring up some new person simply because they are jacked up.

It's interesting to note that WWE.Com recently updated Danny Basham's thumbnail picture on the Raw superstar page. He's got some thin streaks of black paint on his face.

To me,it's a shame as they had good showings in ovw,but that's ovw. I always thought smackdown was were most of your ovw guys get tv exposure. Just like the spirit squad. It's ok,but what will happen to these guys after that. I think tna could use some off these guys if they could find use as well. I mean they brought in for xplosion: donovan morgan and mike modest. Which is about time they got some tv exposure. I don't care for the border patrol gimmick. Look at the results of the tough enough wrestlers that won or finished in 2nd or 3rd. Most of them are gone or if they are around they give them jobs as interviewers or such. Well i liked matt in ovw til he gave up his belf and dream due to his unfortunate injury. I hope matt gets better and concentrate on his life.

What about anyone's thought how long the spirit squad be around? I mean,by jim cornettes comments that the wwe brings the ovw guys too quickly. Because they want to get some new talent. I see on this upcoming raw osama will debut as a new raw manager. I mean most of the younger talent is on smackdown. I miss watching all the guys they brought back or are new like: Jamie Noble,Kid Kash. The most they are put is velocity oe heat and only seen on wwe.com. I wish noble would have went to tna and kash stayed. When will trinity make her debut on smackdown? They are alreay hyping the miz.

Conway is on Heat virtually every week.

 

I believe Conway & Danny Basham help out w/ training in OVW, so that may keep them off the chopping block.
