Guest Kimaster1976 Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 I have read somewhere about WWE cracking down on sales of DVD's on Ebay. Does this mean trying to sell stuff like complete season's of Raw is pointless? or is there any way around selling unwanted stuff now?

If I were you, I would try to find someone in your town, work, school, whatever that could buy it from you. Maybe email some internet friends, family or whatever. Keep that stuff off the internet selling sites.
2GOLD Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Yeah, you are playing with serious fire if you try to do that on the internet now. The WWE has become EXTREMELY protective of their copyrights lately and you aren't earning a dime on them. Go with what Lushus said but I'd avoid ebay or any major site.

You know that collection of words that comes up at the end of each WWE program? That's called a copyright. That means that if you try to profit off of it, you're breaking the law. I don't typically side with WWE, but when it comes to pirating footage for big-time profit, I agree. I think fans should be able to exchange footage, but there are people on eBay making a killing off copyrighted footage.
claydude14 Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Try setting up a thread of tapes you want to sell on this forum or another one. Wrestling fans like to buy wrestling tapes.
