ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 The hell? What does Randy have against Cena? Um...Randy's in that main event on Saturday Night's Main Event, and he wants to soften up one of his opponents?

Exslade ZX 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 And yea, Cena's a pussy. If he really wanted HHH as bad as he appears too, his stupid ass would just walk outside the ring and start fighting.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 Just to point this out, the marky-ist city in America, that was rabid for Cena...didn't even react to Orton's dastardly run-in. If mark-city doesn't give a shit that you put down the very over star...you really aren't over.
SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 Okay, we got that match out of our systems, now lets never ask for it again. Wow, the internet really can turn on anyone. I'm not turning on anyone. The match sucked. Everyone more or less knew it would suck going in, and they didn't disprove anything. RVD and shelton shouldn't be depushed over this, but they certainly dont need to face eachother ever again. I was commenting on how everyone made up their minds the match would suck before it even started. Given that as recently as 6 weeks ago Shelton Benjamin was pretty revered around here, and now people are getting pissed off that Shelton's comedy-relief storyline mother isn't making an appearance...I'd certainly call that turning on him. Guest InuYasha Report post Posted March 14, 2006 I think it has more to do with Shelton being saddled with a piss-poor gimmick that even experienced wrestlers would have trouble pulling off; ie, if they had any brains/pull, they'd outright refuse it. I find Shelton boring now, because his character seems to be a rehash of every version of heel that Chris Jericho has portrayed since the heyday of WCW. WCW proved that a match with two accomplished "high-flyers" can make very good matches, with their "Reign of the Luchadores" era.

One has a problem with botching spots and the other is strictly a spot machine. That's not turning on him. That's recognizing the obvious.

Come WM, they will get to do their spots and the botches will be ignored and everyone, once they stop bitching about Flair going over will praise these two for being the "BEST ATHLETES IN THE WWE! THEY SHOULD MAIN EVENT WM23!!" and forget this abomination of a match existed today. I mean, shit, even AJ Styles can have a good match with fellow spot monkeys. Shelton and RVD couldn't. cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 Flair isn't remotely winning the MITB. I'm assuming with RVD jobbing tonight he is a no brainer winner to take the MITB. Just wondering but why exactly does everyone on here seem to think Flair is going to win this match? What possible sense would it make? The guy is 57 years old and we already know from the Edge TLC match he can't climb a ladder with any speed whatsoever. He's going to do that slow climb and somehow not have any 1 of 5 other guys knock him down? It ain't believable. Can we really judge this matchup on what we got tonight? I mean let's face it, we had a match interrupted by a commercial break leading up to a Flair run in for the finish. I don't want to see this match again either, but for other reasons. Namely that I can't stomach seeing Van Dam fuck around going after the IC title for the umpteenth time, particularly after he got so close to winning the WM tourney. Can you think of a grouping that would have exposed both guys worse? Yes. Insert any single guy from tonight's main event against RVD and you'd have gotten a far worse showing. Guest fanofcoils Report post Posted March 14, 2006 I'm guessing this Raw will finally get below a 4.0 rating this year, a 3.8 rating (which is equivalent to like a 3.3 or 3.4 rating before 2006, when at the start of this year, apparently TIVO started factored into the ratings), so if Raws gets that rating, not good going into WM. When Rob is wrestling, more often than not the other guy needs to be able to ground him or the match falls apart.

RedJed 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 Up and down Raw for sure but how bizzare to see Verne Gagne being inducted into a WWE HOF, and then to have the shitty ass son wrestler who works at a Twin Cities car dealership (I shit you not, bought my vehicle from him) to be the one inducting him. When I bought my car from Greg a few years ago he was shitting on WWE whenever he could get a chance. But money is money, these guys' will just be this years' Paul Orndorff.
