CanadianChris Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 OMG, tell me GMU is going to pull this off. There's nothing I'd rather see.
naiwf Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 George Mason is about to buttfuck my brackets. I'm guessing the selection committee is justified in their pick of them over Hofstra. Sadly, this all but guarantees UConn cruises to the Final 4 now, but Wichita St. or George Mason is going to the Elite 8! You win some, you lose some I guess.
Guest NYankees Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 GM up 6 points with 42 seconds left to go. wow.
mike546 Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 My brackets are officially fucked. Â And I'm also eating crow about UNC and experience.
Hawk 34 Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 CBS, insists that i care about UK/Conn which has 8:40 to go. Â Also, Bucknell and NWST are getting raped, especially NWST.
Hawk 34 Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Yes, GMU is going to drop the defending champs. Â Well, maybe not just yet.
Guest NYankees Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 NC down 2 points with 20 seconds to go.
Vampiro69 Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Well my brackets were screwed after Pitt lost, so now I am going for the underdogs.
Guest Princess Leena Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 George Mason or Wichita St. is going to the Elite 8. Wow.
naiwf Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 How do you beat Duke in Cameron on senior night and then get beat by George F'in Mason? Â I can't wait to see Packer bitch and moan AGAIN next year when 6-9 MM schools get at-large bids even though the MM have been doing really well this year, especially against the power conferences.
Guest NYankees Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 God I cant stand Boone on Uconn. Somebody please cut his fucking girl hair off.

Sadly, this all but guarantees UConn cruises to the Final 4 now, but Wichita St. or George Mason is going to the Elite 8! You win some, you lose some I guess. UConn has to win this game first. Â If Kentucky can manage to win this game, the Washington bracket is WIDE open.

No pressure against Duke on Senior night when you are nothing but a rookie team, you don't know the significance of the rivalry just yet. Playing in the NCAA tournament against an unfamilar team brings out pressure and nerves.
Guest Princess Leena Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 4 of the 10 teams in the Sweet 16 so far, are mid-majors. Likely end up with 5, when Memphis beats Bucknell.
teke184 Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Technically, C-USA is still a major despite losing many of their top basketball programs to the Big East and A-10.
Hawk 34 Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 4 of the 10 teams in the Sweet 16 so far, are mid-majors. Likely end up with 5, when Memphis beats Bucknell. Â I know CUSA isn't a power conference but some people might argue that Memphis doesn't really count as a mid-major.
CanadianChris Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 4 of the 10 teams in the Sweet 16 so far, are mid-majors. Likely end up with 5, when Memphis beats Bucknell. Yeah, I guess we have to consider C-USA a mid-major now, don't we? Â Even so, I wouldn't consider Memphis a mid-major school.
Hawk 34 Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 A UCONN loss, would be hilarious. UCONN losing would officially kill the national bracket but at this point, who really cares.
naiwf Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Boone looks like a cousin of mine, right down to the sissifed hair.
Guest Princess Leena Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 C-USA is a stretch as a mid-major... but, they finished something like the 18th best conference, so I wanted to add them.
CanadianChris Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 A UCONN loss, would be hilarious. UCONN losing would officially kill the national bracket but at this point, who really cares. A UConn loss would be OK by me. It wouldn't hurt my bracket as much, since I don't have them in the championship game.
teke184 Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 A UCONN loss, would be hilarious. UCONN losing would officially kill the national bracket but at this point, who really cares. Â If UCONN loses, it'll severely wound the national brackets but not kill them. Â Â A killing blow would be UConn losing and then Villanova losing to Arizona. Â Alternatively, LSU beating Duke and West Virginia beating Texas could do it as well, as Duke and Texas are the definite favorites out of Atlanta.
Vampiro69 Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 If UCONN loses I am done for the brackets. I had a UCONN-Pitt title game, and would be offically screwed.
CanadianChris Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Wow, if Kentucky were just able to rebound a missed free throw, they'd probably be tied right now. Â EDIT: Case in point. Three offensive rebounds for UConn off missed free throws in a minute.
naiwf Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 How many times has UK had a chance to rebound the fucking ball here and instead opted to play hot potato with it? Way to throw away a spot in the Sweet 16.
teke184 Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Wow... that white boy from Kentucky, Sparks, can shoot those threes!
