Apprentice 5

The show has been pretty good so far, only Apprentice 4's level more or less. I thought Pepi's Kwameish boardroom demeanor was interesting with him being calm when ppl including even Brent say he is a lousy leader. Hopefully Brent and Pepi last a long time because they are the most interesting characters that have been shown. And hopefully Andrea goes soon because even though she has barely contributed to the show, she IMO has been the most annoying contestant on the show with her ugly look/demeanor. I think she looks scarier than Brent.

Hopefully Bryce gets fired soon for being mean to the guy with all the charisma (Lenny). I think Brent is hoping Lenny gets fired as soon as possible so he is the only entertaining contestant left on the show, which will increase his chances of staying on the show. Andrea was once again unlikable this episode however she was "competant". I don't know how many people care about her.

Brent is getting horrible editing on the show. No chance he can turn it around and win with this editing I think. I predict the final 4 to be: Andrea, Tarek, Roxanne, and Lee.

Lenny is the best thing about this season. As for Brent he is getting kicked in the nuts hard when it comes to the editing of the show.

Brent had WAY too much charisma for this show apparently, the other ppl on his team couldn't take his lively personality and scapegoated him because they thought he was such an easy target (fat guy and eccentric personality). I LOVE it how Brent's team constantly said they can't take Brent on their team but their words are never justified, I never saw Brent do anything wrong, he just tried to contribute and was shut down nearly each time. Trump should have kept Brent for ratings and to see what he could do as PM and fired Mandrea instead who is very unlikable. Omarosa was entertaining, Mandrea is MUCH worse than Omarosa or nearly any "bad guy" on past seasons of the Apprentice.

Donald is way too impatient in the boardroom and fires ppl sometimes without getting all the words in. Now Lenny is the only good thing on the Apprentice and the rest of the candidates have been very boring. The candidates this year have been much weaker than last season's Apprentice.

I said this over at DVDVR after watching the first episode, and it held true until he was fired; Brent was just fat Markus. Two weeks in a ROW, Brent suggested the same horrible "LET'S GIVE MASSAGES~!" idea that nobody liked. Clearly these are people who watched Season 4 and realized the best idea would be to marginalize Brent, who responded by getting extremely pushy with anyone he could corner.

Trump doesn't get it and basically will fire anyone automatically who doesn't get along with the team. Perhaps all his team members were employing the right strategy in marginalizing Brent. However the right thing to do would be blame every team member except for Brent for treating him badly for no reason. Brent didn't do a single thing except try to contribute to the team. The team members made him a scapegoat because he is somewhat weird and a fat guy, so Brent can't get along with the team? We never saw Brent's business ideas/accumen being bad, he shouldn't have been fired. Also Brent made some "mean" comments to a few of his team members, well his team members did make a lot of mean comments to him.

This season is WAY worse than season 4. Rebecca was more competent than any of these contestants and she was considered "beneath" Randal by virtually everyone until the final task. Even Chris of last season was more competent than these people in my opinion. I would rank the seasons like this from best to worst: Season 1, season 3, season 4 (very close between season 3 and season 4, season 3 wins out because of the more entertaining finale), season 2, season 5. Season 5 isn't getting enough criticism, however I think ratings may be declining.

Just out of curiosity, what did you like about the finale of 3 more than 4? I thought 4 was the best finale of them all, although I would agree that when you look at every season as a whole, 1 stands out over all of them.

A horrendously boring episode. No characters have been developed except Lee who we found out likes to act "extra good" when Bill/Carolyn are around.

That was HILARIOUS when Leslie was pointed out that she was "below the radar". I am wondering if that is due to how they want to portray her on TV, or if she really is "below the radar" or both. Either way Sandy, I mean Leslie hasn't been exciting at all.

Lenny disappointed me this episode. He didn't say one thing entertaining. This season has been the worst by far.

Both overweight guys get fired in episode 4 (Bowie in season 1 and Brent in season 5).

In season 1, Kristi is never shown to do anything notable in the first 4 episodes but Trump in episode 5 said she did great in those previous 4 episodes whereas on episode 5, season 5, Trump more or less said Leslie didn't do a thing in the previous four episodes. Interesting somewhat.

I want to know when teams are going to realize that when it comes to making an advertisement, either in print or television, the ad that requires less reading always wins.

As soon as Tarek shot down the voice-over idea and said all the printed words on the screen was fine, I immediately told my roommate, "They're fucked."

I had a lot of respect for Bryce tonight. He believed in the product his team put out and he stood up for the people most responsible for putting it together, instead trying to go after the people who contributed the least. His downfall came in not being able to explain his rationale very well, which was too bad.

Way too often on this show, people support their teammates' ideas during a task, only to turn on them when they fail. Bryce stuck by his people and got burned for it. That's a bitch.

His downfall came in not placing the blame on the right people. Most of the people who get fired this season are fired because who they don't take to the board room. Trump this season is like "who came up with that idea, it's their fault, if you can't see that, you're gone".

And the blonde on the winning team is so fucking annoying.
