Guy tries to win over parents / to be a porn star / to be gay / to be a jerk in order to win over girl. Parents become less protective / girl quits porn / girl stops being gay / girl dumps jerk and marries guy.

Not so much a plot, but in a trailer or a comercial:

 

The old white people said 'fo sheez!' Oh, those wacky white people. And old too! Pray tell, is that party 'off the hizzle? Oh my! For shizzle? I've never heard such slanderous talk! My word, I heard of that phrase two years ago, but it was spoken by negroes!' *monocle pops out*.

 

The only time this has been remotely funny is the old lady doing 'Rapper's Delight' in the Wedding Singer. It was built up, she was an actual character, and 'Rapper's Delight' is the shit, especially in the context of an 80's movie. Still, a mediocre joke.

 

There's a GM (I think) commercial going around where 'OMG White People are listening to Roughrider's Anthem!'

 

A: I have hated that song since it was played 6 years ago. It's one of the worst popular songs of all time, right up there with 'My Humps'. It sounds like a Wesley Willis song, minus the novelty.

yea, Chris rock filmed some scenes at a tna weekly ppv (when they were stil in nashville) where his character was runnign for prez and made an appearance at a wreslting show, osme of the other wrestlers in it included Jarrett, The Harris Boys, and BG James

Those really awful "black" movies like "Big Momma's House" or whatever where all the characters act like racist caricatures. I'm not black, but if I were I'd be really offended that this was how my race was being pandered to.

"Beauty Shop", "Bringin' Down the House" -- total ick. Which leads to some other stupid plots:

 

- The white character who tries to be 'black' and is either a)really good at it to where they forget their own race or b)incite blank stares which is supposed to equal Teh Funny.

 

- A male character who gets the aforementioned blank stares after saying anything because it is too feminine/gay-ish. Cue uncomfortable silence. Not only is this NOT FUNNY, but it's pointless as well. What a great way to portray our society. This occurs in many kid's shows as well, and it's a behavior I've seen my lil sister imitate. Absolutely disgusting.
