Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2006 According to the latest Observer, Spike TV has told TNA that when Ultimate Fighter ends, they are putting on 2 new half hour comedy shows in it's place and leaving Impact on at 11pm. TNA had been hoping that they would be able to move up into either 9 or 10pm real prime time slot once Ultimate Fighter ends. This also makes for an odd dynamic because UFC Unleashed is still going to be on at 9pm, the 2 comedies, and the Impact, so TNA will not have a UFC lead in, which doesn't make sense. Things can change, but as of right now, that's where things stand. My take is Spike isn't all that confident in TNA as a commodity and they lack sense with their scheduling. Like it says in the Observer, things can change and I do believe if they can get a ratings bounce on Thursdays that is significant, Spike will change it's mind. geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2006 Spike shouldn't be confident. Flat out, TNA is a crappy product broadcast from a soundstage in Orlando. They are more Battledome than pro wrestling.
