Sly 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2006 But we already have a Street Fight on the card... would that be too much? It's not my title though. Yet.
JJ Johnson 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2006 Jay, if you want to go REALLY old-school with feud-enders, you can't beat the Texas Deathmatch. That's as old-school as it gets.
Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2006 I'm not necessarily opposed to writing stip matches so much as I'm opposed to writing stip matches for the sake of writing stip matches; what I mean is, I think that stips are great within the context of a feud (cage, ladder, FCA, street fight, submission, or what have you), but I'm not a big fan of "we need x type of match on the card, let's book these guys in it." Even ladder matches, which are "allegedly" WC's specialty, I haven't written for unless they were part of some kind of significant storyline/feud. The only kind of stip match that I've ever liked enough to write just for the sake of writing is No Gravity, and NG is really more of a lower midcard stip. If we'd been building towards something, I'd be all for it, but for the #1 Contender to be announced on the last show before the PPV... I dunno: there really isn't enough meat there to justify a stip, at least not in my eyes. And, let's not forget that you haven't actually won the match yet; if Drea can be bothered to write, she's totally capable of winning...

Angel_Grace_Blue 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2006 Aw, yeah! Flip-Flop! Even if WC did edit out the super-awesome swing dancing spot from Team Flip-Flop vs. 42nd Street (Or whatever Todd and Masky was called).

I dunno: there really isn't enough meat there to justify a stip, at least not in my eyes. Forget it then. Like I said, it's your belt. And, let's not forget that you haven't actually won the match yet; if Drea can be bothered to write, she's totally capable of winning... I'm pretty sure I already mentioned that. But you're right. Guest OKCoyote Report post Posted April 17, 2006 Ah, screw it. Had to work late all week and that's that. Change of plans. Effective immediately, I'm leaving the fed for the next five weeks due to work-related and family-related commitments that are taking up a lot of my time. (Oh yeah, and there is that wedding thing coming up too...) I was going to stick around until Battleground, but I don't have a vested interest in that show at the present time. I will be back around in early June. So, see you then.
Sly 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2006 Bye, Pete. Or Pete's son... or whatever ringer you are. Edit - I realize that this might come across as hateful. I didn't mean it that way, though.
Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2006 .... In that case, I really hope that Drea wrote, because I don't have time to ad-lib anything...
