RedJed 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2006 I'm a little pissed that Scary Movie 4 already has almost 70 million. The fuck is wrong with this country. Oh well, at least it didnt get number one again.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2006 It's pretty lame that Scary Movie 4 has made nearly seventy million and Lucky Number Slevin (which I saw today and was great) hasn't cracked twenty mil yet.
LivingLegendGaryColeman 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2006 Silent Hill sucked, but I figured it would be number one. And WOW, I expected American Dreamz to do decient. Now it'll be lucky to stay in the top 12 next week. I saw American Dreamz this past week on free passes I was given. I had slight expectations, as although I've never seen any of American Idol, I thought it looked interesting and had a solid cast. After viewing it, it was a bit weak. I was slightly disappointed, nothing to go rushing out for. A few little quirks here and there and Mandy Moore probably looking the best she has in a while IMO. This week I got free passes for Stick It. Can't complain about free tickets to sneak previews, but these ones are stretching it a bit.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2006 Silent Hill was pretty good, but it seemed to run very long I thought.
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2006 The marketing behind American Dreamz was God awful. No one cares about Dennis Quaid. Hugh Grant was pushed to the side. People who are American Idol fans likely saw the film as being insulting to them. People who dislike American Idol have no interest in seeing a movie that makes fun of it. People who are into political satire are generally going to be turned off by the American Idol concept as a whole. I'm not shocked it bombed. I went to the theaters for the first time since The Aristocrats and saw ... Take The Lead. Yeah, it was a female friend's birthday.
