constanly bash hhh no matter what he does: yep...he's boring and a mediocre wrestler...but other then that he's just fine :thumbs up:

 

hate hulk hogan: He deserves every bit of it. Unlike with HHH there's proof and a history of Hogan fucking up shit backstage to help himself or his friends. He's also ten years past his prime and in his prime he was an average wrestler at best. So i fail to see why we shouldn't dislike Hogan.

 

worship chris benoit: Worship him or not i've been a fan of his since I started watching wrestling again as the NWO angle was starting up. Also why is it such a bad thing to "worship" him? He's a great wrestler who can pull a great match out of damn near everyone. Hmm i'd think that would be a good reason to "worship" a wrestler.

 

hate jim ross: I don't think that many actually hate him. They just want him to give up announcing. He's a washed up shell of a once good announcer and he'd been long gone from Raw if WWe had any other decent announcers. The other shitty announcers make JR look alot better then he is now.

 

hate jerry lawler: Once again he's a washed up announcer that use to be humorous but has became nothing but a joke. But unlike with JR i honestly do hate Lawler now. Eventough he's washed up at least JR still adds something to a match. Lawler adds nothing but stupid childish humor and acting like a pervert. I'd think that's a good reason to dislike Lawler.

 

hate bra and panties matches: these are the biggest wastes of time ever created on WWF tv. There isn't one redeemable thing about these stupid matches. No wrestling fan above 14 cares about this shit. If you want this garbage buy porn or watch Skinamax.

 

hate wcw: I for one wasn't here when WCW was still around so i can't say how the smarks handled it. However from my aol days i can tell you that the majority who always ripped on WCW were the blind WWF die hards that won't admit WWF flaws or the new fans(what would be called mark) who hopped on the bandwagon that didn't watch WCW during nwo. These idiots could always be summed up in 4 words "WCW suxz WWF rulz!!". So while i don't know for sure i'm sure the so called "smarks" were more open minded and just ripped on the bad stuff. And as someone who watched WCW to the end i admit that there was alot to rip on. I'd like to think that "smarks" didn't blindly hate everything related to WCW like the aol idiot, but maybe i'm giving them too much credit

 

push for cruiserweights: Um i don't remember the whole "smark community" pushing for this. It was usaully just one group of us. It's a large group but is still just a small percent of the "smark community".

 

hate the hardcore division: Well how about telling us something good about it that we can like? At one time it was a division that was usaully watchable. But now other then the occasional match like Raven vs. Rhyno the division is garbage. It's a meaningless belt and garbage style hardcore is a out dated fossil that is just flat out stale and it gets very tiresome watching it. Something even worse about the division is that it's watered down WWe style garbage hardcore. So not only is it extremely played out but it's also weak as hell looking.

Ah yes other then HHH(can't remark on WCW thing) there is good reason for those eeevil "smarks" to hate said things. I'll give you the HHH point because until it's proven there's no reason to do alot of the HHH bashing unless it's about his mediocre wrestling or boring as all hell promos.

 

I fail to see what any of that is suppose to prove. All i get from it is that a "smark" is someone who doesn't eat everything that Vince serves with a big spoon and a smile. If that's what you mean then i just don't see what's so bad about "smarks".

 

Or maybe...just maybe it means that "smarks" are...WRESTLING FANS and aren't overly into stupid shit like bra and panties matches and old men drooling over women old enough to be his grand daughter.

I guess I match that Smark list as well, except for one thing: Hating HHH. Probably just because I'm a DX mark, but I've always liked HHH since the DX days and I don't think he's as bad as everyone here claims. Yeah, he had some crappy matches but they weren't nearly as bad as everyone made them out to be (I thought HHH/Y2J was at WMX8 was ***1/2, and Angle/HHH had some real good matches as well, although I admit that was Angle carrying him). I do admit that Hunter is not the same worker he was in '00-'01, but I don't share the criticism and hatred for everything else he does (his promos aren't as bad as everyone says they are- although watching the DX Election Speech video I downloaded from Kazaa, I wish he'd stop being INTENSE~! and just talk like a normal person again with a lot of sarcasm- that would get over as a face and his promos sounded so much better when he talked like that).

 

Back on-topic: Benoit's promos on Raw was good and short, which they should keep Benoit's promos. As long as they are short and to-the-point, Benoit can handle himself on the mic fine, and short and to-the-point promos fit his character well, so the WWeeeee shouldn't worry too much about Benoit's mic skills

and hate that Jim Ross and lawler, perfectly cpable of calling a wrestling match don't bother to do just that.. call a wrestling match.

I like HHH's INTENSE~! promos when he is a heel and has something to be pissed about. I always enjoyed when he'd rant and rave about the HIAC or Iron Man matches, really sold the emotion and danger in those matches. Now, even though I still think he is ok, it is pretty lame. As a face it just comes off as hokey and over the top.

 

I don't buy Benoit's emotion. When he was yelling at Austin it didn't seem intimidating or that he was upset at all. He used the same tone and acting that he uses when he is putting himself over as the greatest wrestler. I also can't stand how he refers to himself as "the greatest technical wrestler". That's just silly. Mark Henry doesn't tell everyone he is the greatest power wrestler and you don't hear Kidman telling everyone he is the greatest fast paced wrestler.

that's cause mark henry and billy kidman don't have reputations for being the world's greatest power or fast-paced wrestler (respectively).  it isn't just a throwaway gimmick to get people to remember him (like "the best there is, the best there was & the best there ever will be"), it's a reputation he legitimately earned from smarks, critics & peers (like bret hart).

 

benoit's promos are inoffensive but forgettable.  he has the same problem rvd has, in that he can only speak in one tone of voice & work on one level.  but that one level (intense & pissed off) is a hell of a lot more appropriate for pro wrestling than rvd's only level (lost & apathetic).
