TheInsane 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2006 During the first or second season of tough enough they had to say no to one of their initial picks. He "didnt pass the physical" as they said. Does anyone know what exactly you had to be able to do to pass the physical?

Chazz 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2006 If it's the one I'm thinking of, I believe the "didn't pass the physical" was just a cover story because the kid's parent's had some issues with the contracts' they had to sign to be on the show or something. I remember reading about it at the time in The Torch Newsletter. Hope that helps.

I remember reading about it at the time in The Torch Newsletter. Hope that helps. I think this was season one and they just said that "he didnt pass the physical". Ins eason two someone had a problem with signing the contract. Maybe that was the case ins eason one as well though. The reason I asked is because I was curious on how well trained you would have to be for them to take a look at you as a newcomer. Personally Im not in that great shape but I do run 2-3 times a week for about 30-40 minutes each time. I just wanted to see how far away I was from their physical tests. haws bah gawd 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2006 One of the main things I missed about TE 3 and 4 were the lack of tryout episodes. I got a laugh out of seeing the morbidly obese guys and girls showing up and trying to do all the running and jumping across the ring. Especially the one guy from TE2 who had so many rolls, JR (pot. kettle. black.) said he looked like he just had a litter of pups.

I remember it well because there was a kid that Al Snow liked who faked passing out. The TSM recap of the TE3 Premiere
