In a recent interview, former grappler Giant Gonzalez revealed that he is currently using a wheelchair. "Now I am in my house, wheelchair and surviving, doing what I can and the truth I say is not easy, but hope that this changes soon and can receive some aid of the government by my discapacidad and thus it must to enable to me in other things that can help me to gain the bread every day to me,” said Gonzalez.

No matter how poor his wrestling skills were, you have to feel sorry for the guy. I wonder if it was his giant condition or his hard work in poor Argentina that made him this way. Nonetheless, get well soon Gigante!

anyhow that sucks for him. I actually liked el gigante, but thought he sucked as gonzalez. I was hoping he would have a face run in wwe, but after his turn in 93 he dissapeared.

Despite his lack of in-ring ability and horrible gimmick, I feel really bad for him and hope his condition improves. From what I've heard, he is a really nice guy so it's a shame he is like that.
