JangoFett4Hire 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2006 Looks like one of those movies that just screams for you to smoke up before viewing.
TheBostonStrangler 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2006 I saw it. Pretty good movie, but a tough narrative to follow at times. Once it clicks it at the end, it all feels a lot better. I think it'd benefit highly from a second viewing where you feel more comfortable with the narrative and overall plot. Very funny at times (Robert Downey Jr. owns it), and the animation style works incredibly well. Very solid movie.

dubq 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2006 So, is it better than Waking Life? Well, they're two completely different movies. If you mean the animation, then yes it has evolved since the technique was used in Waking Life.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2006 The movie's worth seeing just for the dialogue any time Robert Downey Jr.'s character is on the screen. Brilliant stuff there.
dubq 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2006 Also of note, they'vre released a graphic novel adaptation of the movie. It's pretty cool as they took tons of stills from the movie and turned it into a hardcover g/n.
JangoFett4Hire 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 I saw it yesterday. I think if you see this under the influence of anything, you'll curl up into a ball and cry. It's a head trip, for sure.
