It's almost the five year anniversary since Moppy's death. Boy, how time flies by. It seemed like just yesterday Moppy was giving us five star hilarity. We'll miss you Moppy!

Pepe was thrown in the chipper, that much I know for sure...I can't remember what happened to Moppy...if anyone can find video of Pepe's demise, I'll love you forever! Chavo's reaction was priceless!

I remember my days as saturnmark4life. Still use that on ebay.

I never knew that was you.

Or realised, then swiftly didn't give a fuck.

Raven was funny doing the voice over. He was saying "whew, look at it go" while the board moppy was place on got jammed in the chipper. He looked so embarassed to be doing that segment.

The whole Moppy thing was sprung off the "Saturn keeps getting knocked goofy" angle, which they just did so that his opponents could stiff him as punishment for the Mike Bell incident.

Saturn is retired, or something. I haven't found any references to him appearing or wrestling since dropping out of Shane Douglas' Hardcore Homecoming due to lingering effects after being shot in the neck and having plates put in.

Saturn and Moppy hosting was the best Heat ever.

Sort of funny story. During the Moppy angle, a local indy guy was suppossed to job to him on Heat, but the local guy said he didn't want to lose in his hometown, so Saturn just threw some potatos, got him down and the ref did a quick threee to get them out of their. A couple of weeks latter I'm at a local Indy show and he comes out, and the group I'm with all gives the Rings of Saturn thing arm gesture. Mid-card some other indy guy comes out to watch and sez to us not to stick around because the other guy was super pissed off and was going to confront us in the parking lot after the show.

Wait, wait.

I thought Mike Bell was the one who blew the spot causing Saturn to get pissed and into the Moppy gimmick.

Then there was the one that RepoMan is referring to that he says happened during the gimmick. The guy who didn't want to job and was fighting Saturn until he had enough and put him down, and was justified by WWE.

Then the one I remember, another guy on Jakked/Velocity, or whatever it was at the time. It was after Saturn just got out of the gimmick, I think after or just before he got injured, he was running around in plain black at the time. I remember Saturn being pretty stiff with that guy. Or maybe me and him are thinking of the same guy.

Whatever. Saturn is awesome.

Mike Bell

Who was the other guy Saturn stiffed the hell out of in early-mid 2002 towards the end of his run after the Moppy gimmick when he was basically a Jakked/Metal exclusive wrestler? I remember watching the match at 7 A.M. on a Saturday morning (When Jakked came on my local Fox station)and being perplexed by it.

I wa s there in LA when Terri kidnapped Moppy, but the tv announcers acted like they had no idea what happened since it wasnt on camera.

Raven failing with the chipper was an awesome moment. A weird way to rekindle the old Saturn/Raven feud to be sure, but at least JR mentioned their history when they wrestled at Unforgiven 01.

The goofy Saturn gimmick is a guilty pleasure of mine I suppose. All his carzy sayings and his and terris double date with Dean and some chick was great. (he ordered 3 crayons and a bowl of mustard, "youre welcome")

then him doing the whassup with the duleys ot his own teamate Dean

indeed the Heat with him was all kinds of greatness.

actually when he came back in 02 at the rumble they didnt even mention his goffy period.
