Recommended Posts

1-2 punch

for kicks i'll say

ballad in plain d & it ain't me babe.

just two amazing songs. ballad is just another mean spirited song about an ex-lover. it ain't me babe is just a mean spirited song to his fans. bob was his best when he was mean.

Rainy Day Women #12 & 35

People seriously think this?

they can't.

thats the lowest point on blonde on blonde. and its the first song. but its fine for a novelty song. sorta.

Actually, I just mentioned the song for the hell of it. Actually "Like a Rolling Stone" is probably my favorite. I wanted to see the reaction to mentioning Rainy Day Women.

Hurricane.

That is my favorite as well. I love how Mitch, Pink and Wooderson walk into the pool hall with Hurricane playing in Dazed and Confused.

Guest Felonies!

I actually find the music to "Hurricane" much more compelling than the actual story being told. I love those bongos.

Maybe that's because he did it.

My favorite Dylan song is "Mr. Tambourine Man," which also happens to be my (and Hunter S. Thompson's) favorite song by anyone. The Byrds version sucks compared to it.
