Game over for Triple H?

After announcing that DX would take on the McMahons at SummerSlam, "The Chairman" was all smiles with Shawn Michaels left seemingly unconscious in the ring. Following a tiring match with the undefeated Umaga, interference by Mr. McMahon and Shane ensured "The Samoan Bulldozer" would not only get the victory over HBK, but hopefully injure him in the process.

"The Chairman" and his son continued the brutal assault after the match, and also told Michaels to give Triple H a message, that he would take on Umaga on Raw the following week.

Since joining Raw in April, "The Samoan Bulldozer" has ripped through the competition. His savage beatings on HBK, among others, have got to be on "The Game's" mind. Although Triple H is known as one of the fiercest competitors in WWE, he has to wonder about the type of danger he could be subjected to against Umaga. For weeks, DX was one step ahead of the McMahons. Then, after Umaga got tossed into the mix, the scales were tipped against DX for the first time. Will "The Samoan Bulldozer" continue his dominance against Triple H on Raw?

Hulk Hogan was originally scheduled to show up at Raw tonight in Memphis, but a knee injury will prevent him from appearing. His status for his match against Randy Orton at SummerSlam is still unknown.

Randy Orton, however, will definitely be at Raw, facing Jerry "The King" Lawler in "The King's" hometown of Memphis, Tenn. Two weeks ago, after Hogan dared Orton to step into the ring with him, Lawler made it his business to give "The Hulkster" a helping-hand. "The King" left his announcer's post and tossed Orton into the ring to prevent him from getting away from Hogan.

The following week Orton landed a cheap shot on Lawler that knocked him off of his chair. Lawler responded by challenging "The Legend Killer" to a match on Raw. Will Lawler have the hometown edge when he steps into the ring with, or will he become another victim of "The Legend Killer"?

A match between WWE Champion Edge and John Cena was also announced for SummerSlam, and there's a stipulation. If Edge gets disqualified, he will lose the WWE Championship. WWE fans know how fanatical Cena has been about reclaiming the WWE Championship, but Edge has vowed he won't succumb to the STFU, and that he'll be the one with his hand raised at SummerSlam. What will Edge have to say on Raw?

Goodbye, Rebecca DiPietro. The third Diva casualty slimmed the pool in the Diva Search contest down to five. This week on Raw, the fourth Diva hopeful will be eliminated. Who will it be?

SummerSlam, the biggest party of the Summer, is rapidly approaching and the closer it gets, the more the competition heats up. Watch Raw tonight, live on the USA Network at 9pm/8pm CT.

I'm truly shocked as to who made this topic.

I'm not shocked at all that you're a little bitch.

This logic suggests to me that Umaga is better than all 5 members of the Spirit Squad. Ouch.

I hope Randy somehow injures Lawler with the RKO so that he can't talk anymore.

Anybody else think Edge will somehow get counted out at SummerSlam?

Personally, I say one of two things happens:

Edge gets counted out so he loses, but retains, or:

Something happens (run-in) that causes Edge to get DQed through no fault of his own, and he goes ballistic as he drops the match AND the belt in one fell swoop.

It's painfully obvious that Lawler does the J-O-B in Memphis, although he did his best to bury it last week by saying "It's not about winning or losing, I just want to beat some respect into him."

If Edge has Lita/Foley/Nitro/somebody run in and hit him with the belt to get Cena DQed it would be nearly as entertaining as retaining cleanly.

Oh god, I didn't even think about this. That's exactly what's going to happen. That way they can continue Edge/Cena and the DX/McMahons crap for another month before they build to a street fight between Edge and Cena at Unforgiven and a 3 vs. 2 handicap match with DX against Vince, Shane, and Umaga at Unforgiven.

I expect Umaga to go over in the match, but not in a way that would benefit him at all.

I think he will go over just fine. I think they realize they need another heel and Umaga has became the heir apparent to the role with HHH being a face now.

But Orton against Lawler? Come on. Why is Lawler even INVOLVED in this now anyway?

King hit Orton from behind and threw him to Hogan. Last week Orton slapped him. Its just another excuse to throw an old man against Orton instead of putting him into a legitimate program.

So I missed two weeks of RAW and all I really missed was Orton and Lawler slappy fighting? NOW I'm starting to consider missing a third week.

I dislike Orton but even I know he deserves better than this. First a feud with Hogan that would end with Orton jobbing and probably getting RKO'ed by Brooke, and now he has to fight Lawler? What's next, one on one with Papa Shango

Can you imagine Orton vs Warrior at Wrestlemania 23? Horriffic.

Between Orton's stammering, stuttering promos and Warrior's non-sensical destrucity, I think it'd make for quite possibly the most hilarious string of promos in wrestling history. Worst Wrestlemania match ever, granted.

Screw that, I want it booked now. Orton vs Warrior in a promo war could last two editions of RAW and no one would have a clue what either one of them was talking about. Plus watching Warrior no sell the RKO and run around the ring like a crazy person would be worth 50 dollars.

Would the Orton/Warrior feud segue into a Warrior/Batista segue culminating in a SummerSlam '07 match where both DAVE and Warrior shake the ropes at the same time, causing a massive pyro explosion and the ring to collapse?

Damn Cena, HBK and HHH jobbing to Umaga put's a smile on my face.

Seriously, I wasn't sure about Umaga at 1st, but now I'm starting to buy his a main event heel. I mark like crazy whenever he just randomly attacks someone. Estrada is a great manger to, reminds me of the Cuban verison of Slick.

Umaga and Estrada are my favorite part of Raw.

Orton will get big heat for pinning Lawler in Memphis in his Yearly Raw Match, also, he's "killing" another "legend" on the way to Hogan. Makes sense.

How does Edge retain? Simple. Edge does have somebody run in to hit him, so he can retain. The ref gets knocked out, RVD comes out, clears the ring, hits the 5 Star on Edge, wakes Cena up, the ref wakes up, 1, 2, 3, Cena gets his spinner back.

RVD/ Cena staredown, shake hands.

RVD/Cena for the title on Raw, or the next PPV or something, so Cena can make up the favor Rob gave him after he won the title.

Throughout some of that time, RVD gets the ECW Title back, and he's back to where he was before, just like the rags are reporting he will be.

Oh yeah, I bet Umaga beats HHH tinight, then when Umaga gets the title, HHH is the one to take it from him, getting his job back.

I think Orton will be required to sell way too much for Lawler. Or he might barely squeeze out a cheap DQ win, because they have to protect the retired fatboy announcer.

What should happen is that Orton should slap Lawler all over the ring right from the bell as Lawler gets no offense, and then for a finale Orton assrapes Lawler while giving the Memphis crowd the finger. Then we don't see Lawler for a month as he recovers from injury.

But I think we'll get 60% Lawler offense, mad Orton cheating for a DQ, and then Lawler bitches about it for the rest of the night.

so everyone's leaning towards Umaga getting the win here? hmmmm alrighty...this is still HHH here, you know...DX version or The Game version, it is still HHH.

don't get me wrong, I like Umaga, he's really not that bad...he's a high impact finisher away from getting over. The Spike just ain't cuttin it. Next to Carlito and Shelton (when he's actually doing something), he's the only one worth watching on Raw right now.

Exactly, when he did that ill ass Somoan Drop on HBK, the entire crowd went "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO", they dug that shit.

The Spike should either be a setup for that, or that should be the setup for a top rope splash, or all three as his "3 moves of Doom" to finish his matches.

He's get madd over with: Somaon Spike - Somoan Slam - Somoan Splash.

As long as he keeps Estrada as his manager. Otherwise, the gimmick will go to hell, because he's an integral part of it.

I still don't understand why people are so high on Umaga. He's Vince's shitty, shitty answer to Samoa Joe with the worst finisher in the company.

Thank you. At least someone is opening their eyes.

The only similarity between their gimmicks is that they are both Samoan and both unstoppable. Goldberg and Steve Austin were both white and unstoppable, does that mean that Goldberg was just WCW's ripoff of Austin?

Um....yeah.

Umaga is this year's recipient of what I term the "dead end push." We all know this is just going through the motions stuff, much like Rikishi in 2000 or the whole Muhammed Hassan deal last year (though Rikishi was actually over). Or Chris Masters during the past year. Because right now the world champ is a heel on Raw and if Cena managed to regain it Umaga might get a token PPV title shot and then job.

I kinda feel sorry for Rosie in all this. He gets released and they bring back his lesser tag partner and give him a major push.

As far as Orton goes, the reason they put him against a bunch of old guy "legends" is that at this point they can't put Orton over anyone that has any real use. Much like Umaga he's stuck at the moment since there is a heel world champ, and I really doubt WWE would job HHH out to him, or Cena. He's already beaten Michaels in dubious fashion and got little from it. Given Orton's antics over the past year, who can they justify jobbing to him?

Yeah, Orton's stuck in no-man's land now.

They can't make him HHH's bitch again, like most of 2004-05.

And you know a feud with Cena is like WWE's dream feud they're saving for a big time.
